Cat loves it
My cat loves this so much we bought her a second one. She now has two favorite spots to nap. Especially love this for winter days when she’s home alone and the heat is off.

Great for cats. Would be nice if it came with a cover.

Best pet bed warm!
My cats ABSOLUTELY LOVE these warmers! I have two rescued 13 year old special needs kitties. The one w/ the most severe special needs is developing arthritis and already has diabetic neuropathy in her legs. She's not in pain and gets around just fine, when she wants to, but she's not a very active kitty either. I noticed she was starting to act a bit stiff at times when getting up after napping. I don't want her to be in any sort of pain nor discomfort so I ordered this warming pad for her bed, but as I was trying it out, first on my bed, my other kitty, who is also 13 but much more spry, decided to try it and wouldn't get off, so I let him have that one, for on my bed (under a crate mat), and ordered another for my girl... actually I ordered 2 more in the small size. One for my girl's bed, and the other for my boy's bed. My boy absolutely loves them and is constantly one one of them. On the other hand, and go figure, my girl does like her warm bed, but only at times. She's quite a warm blooded little thing so I think she gets too warm, even though I do have the pad under a thicker crate mat and a blanket on top of that, but I guess it's still a bit too warm at times. On chilly days when the wind is whipping she does use it, and that's the other reason I ordered these pads. I rent the upstairs of an older home (upper/ lower duplex). The windows in 2 of the rooms leak air quite badly, so in the winter when it's cold and the wind is blowing it significantly effects the temp in those rooms, which just so happen to be the rooms my cats hang out in the most. These pads give me peace of mind knowing my kitties can stay nice and warm, along w/ the fact I don't have to worry about them heating up too high and burning by furbabies, nor worry about leaving them plugged in for long times especially when away from home... I leave mine on 24/7. I also appreciate and I'm thankful for the fact they don't suck a lot of 'juice' so they don't raise my electric bill all that much. In summary, these pet bed warming pads are wonderful! Your furbabies will definitely approve! If you have older or arthritic pets, or if have pets that are always cold, this is a must! You can't go wrong w/ any of the K&H products They make great, high qualify products.

Great!
Works well for my pup who likes blankets but ends up moving and taking them off throughout the night.

Wrigley’s Top 10 Favorite Amazon Purchases
The media could not be loaded. Disclosure: Mommy and I love these so much that she paid full price for 3 of these pet bed warmers (soon to be 4)! WARNING: Extreme cuteness in the last 6 seconds of the video. My name is Wrigley and Mommy says that I’m a sweet little Maltese boy. I was born in 2011 so I’m 32 years old same as Mommy. I adopted Mommy on her 30th birthday and have had her and Daddy wrapped around my paws ever since. Daddy sometimes says I’m a fat boy but Mommy says I just have a lot of fluffy and that I only weigh 7lbs. Mommy is going to write reviews on her top 10 favorite Amazon purchases. Since she forgot to include some of the best ones (hello, Greenies!!!!!), I made my own list, in no particular order; this item is one of them. It is getting cold in my house and I’ve been sleeping in my bed curled up in a ball. Mommy and Daddy sometimes try to cover me but I don’t like to be under a blanket. Last night, Mommy brought out my warming pet bed, put it on one side of my bed, and I slept on it stretched out the whole night. Sometimes I get too hot, but then I just crawl over to the other side of my bed to cool off. Mommy says she would never put the warming bed in my crate or somewhere I can’t get away from it. I was so happy to have a warm snuggle bed to sleep in at night that Mommy got me another one to use during the day when I’m home alone. It’s my job to guard the house and I do a very good job. She first got me the medium but it was kind of a strange size, so the second one is a large one, since it didn’t cost much more money. Mommy and Daddy say nothing but the best for me. Mommy bought a third warming pet bed for my cousin Maddy-girl when she moved from Phoenix to Chicago last winter to live with Grandma and Grandpa. I’ve never been to Chicago, but Mommy says it’s cold. I don’t like Maddy-girl so I hope she stays there forever – she’s crazy. Grandma doesn’t let Maddy-girl use the warming bed unsupervised because she digs a lot (like I said, she’s crazy). Mommy and Daddy are a little bit worried about fire danger and they don’t like to leave each bed on for too long at a time, but so far, so good. Mommy wants to buy one more so that she can rotate their use. Mommy got my first bed (size medium) on November 1, 2013, my second bed (size large) on November 19, 2014, and the bed for cousin Maddy-girl (size large) on January 1, 2015. I love my warming beds so much that sometimes I snarl-snarl if Mommy and Daddy try to take me away from them. I asked Mommy and Daddy to make a video for you to show you the snuggle bed they made for me. Daddy doesn’t let me sleep with him because I love to snuggle very close and play all night long. Mommy got me a Disney Cars toddler bed and put it in front of Mommy and Daddy’s big bed. I like cars just like Daddy! Mommy has a pet bed for me on one side of the bed and a pillow on the other. There is a bowl of water in the middle of the bed since sometimes I get very thirsty in the middle of the night. I hope your Mommy and Daddy love you enough to get you a nice warm bed like this one. Thank you for watching and reading. If you have a question, leave a comment and Mommy will do her best to help you out.

Love!
My cats love these. I had a smaller one but then I got a second cat and they wouldn't stop fighting over it, so had to get a second, larger, pad. I always keep it under a soft blanket or towel.

Great for arthritic dogs
This is our third heater and our third arthritic dog. We keep dog beds in various places throughout the house and they have all preferred the bed with the heater.

K&H nails it again, perfect for turning your chair, couch or actual pet bed into one that is heated.
I highly recommend the entire K&H Manufacturing line of heated pads, replacement pads, indoor outdoor pads, the lot. We do wildlife rescue, along with fostering critical care, neonates, and special needs animals, we have used these constantly for well over a decade now. They are practically indestructible, under normal conditions, but even a heavy chewer will kill these, if you allow it. I have used these, literally for years, non stop, 24/7. Love that they are super low energy use, DO NOT TURN OFF, and are incredibly versatile; we have yet to have a single one fail, at last count, we currently own 14 of this particular style of replacement bed heater. We are owned by 11 dogs and a cat, all of whom seek warmth, even when it is 30+ degrees out, still preferring to be under the polar fleece blankets. Despite the multiple, different (now) heated dog beds, the favorite one is our old futon couch we converted into one giant, communal pet bed! Put on a fitted sheet, then a thick polar fleece blanket, use rope to ensure it stays in place (when folded into couch) down the central crease. Place these heating pads between the fitted sheet and the polar fleece, along the "seat" of the couch, cover with the polar fleece blanket, and tuck it in on the sides, bottom and top. If you have MY dogs, you will then need to add a second polar fleece blanket or two on top so they can burrow in, and be covered on all sides. Or I guess you could use it as intended to replace a failed unit or turn any pet bed into a heated one....either way, I have used these in multiple ways (strapped to my office chair or recliner...), for years, and not had one fail me yet. The heat never varies, no cycling on/off, no more hot/warm/cool, no waking up to that insufferable auto shut off, nope, none of that. Just put in place, plug it in, and warm, gentle heat.... I highly recommend the entire K&H Manufacturing line of heated pads, replacement pads, indoor outdoor pads, the lot. You may pay more up front (and YES, I have tried less expensive alternatives, all of which died within a year), but this is an electrical appliance that will stay plugged in, for years, permanently turned on and used by your pet. It is not worth having one fail at a critical time or worse yet, have an electrical fault that could cause serious harm to all; spend the money, get a reliable, trustworthy product that will operate hassle free for years, if not decades (many of mine are older than 10 years). HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a "heating pad" that is safe, inexpensive to operate, runs 24/7 and is completely reliable.

How to make an entire couch a heated pet bed!
These pads are simple, plug in, and they are on, and stay on, until you unplug them. They stay a constant temperature and never cycle up and down or shut off and use a ridiculously tiny amount of energy. Are they pricey, yep, but as I have YET to have one of these vinyl (?) pads fail me, and have used them for well over a decade, I can assure you they are absolutely worth the money. Technically they are replacement pads for their heated pet beds, although why you would ever need to replace them (not a one has failed on me yet in over a decade) is beyond me; perhaps it is so you can use them in OTHER manufacturers heated beds or take a regular bed and create a heated bed... I use them to turn human furniture, such as couches, into large, heated pet beds ( yep that is what you do when you are owned by 13 dogs!). I just lay them in a row down the futon couch, cover with a fitted sheet, then a polar fleece blanket and presto, a giant heated pet bed. If only you could see the looks on the faces of visitors who sit on the dog couch as their butt slowly heats up.........priceless!!! Okay, the facts: these use hardly any energy, and a little goes a long way, meaning, you really do not need a pad that fits the entire pets bed, half or less is more than enough. I know, I get it, you think more is better, WRONG. I tried that, replacing the tiny 6x6 pads in the 21 inch beds with larger ones and guess what, they were abandoned. As soon as I put the small ones back in, the animals went back to them. This also addresses how most folks think they are not warm enough...oh, they are, you just are not sitting or laying on them. When they are compressed against an insulated base and/or sandwiched by a living body, they are plenty warm, it just will not FEEL like it when you quickly place your hand on the bed it is installed in, but if you SIT on it, within moments you will understand how powerful these units are. I have yet to be disappointed by ANY K&H product...I own half a dozen heated water bowls, dozens EACH of their heated hard pads, the lectro soft heated pads and these soft pads. Not a single soft pad has failed on me yet; some are already much older than 10 yrs, and are in use 24/7, 365 days a year, non stop for all that time. PS: in winter, I lay a blanket over my recliner and tuck one of these in behind for warmth and to soothe my aching back.

Competing for comfort.
In the beginning I purchased three of these small K&H Pet Bed Warmers and placed two in the front window and one on a tower bed stand. I have four cats and soon realized there was a first come first serve situation at these beds. The fourth cat who had been too slow in claiming a heated bed for him or her self, at a time when they all were desiring a place to rest, tried to impress upon one of the others that maybe he or she could be persuaded to move. It was kind of comical to see. Fortunately I could afford to purchase a few more Warmers and put them in the beds that were without. They are perfect for there purpose. Four watts of power per pad means that five times four equals twenty watts of power being consumed. To me, that is a next to nothing, cost wise, considering the benefit to our pets. I recommend the K&H Pet Bed Warmer to anyone wishing to better the comfort their pets experience. As an aside, we keep the home at sixty five degrees fahrenheit at night and sixty seven degrees during the day.

Having a hard time warming up to it
Check that the dimensions match your needs..its a bit meager for our needs.. And it may even be a stretch to call this a 'bed warmer'. Perhaps 'plug in device that increases the temperature of something to a level that is marginally above room temperature". And there's no on/off switch. You have to unplug it. I'm guessing there are better choices.

Heats up nice!
I bought this for my cats that like to cuddle puddle all together in one bed. I put the pad in a pillow case and leave it underneath a big cat bed. We keep our furnace low at night so I connected it to a smart switch that goes on every night at 9pm and automatically turns off at 7am . Would buy again
