The Whistle lasted pretty long

My Frenchies can break all the whistles in the ball in less than 30 mins, this ball lasted a week, my dog cut out a hole and ripped out the whistle. So in my opinion lasting a week is incredible, knowing my dog’s attack to get that whistle out as their main goal.

The one and only....

After much (expensive) trial and error, this is the only ball my German Shepard likes. He's actually taught himself to dribble it from his mouth while running like a professional basketball player! He has OSD (Obsessive Squeak Disorder) but since he does not have a high prey drive and squeaking makes him happy, I'm ok with it. The pandemic supply issues were a nightmare for us not being able to get him these balls and even if we did, they weren't the same. Even from chain pet stores/"authorized" JW Dealers, etc. the rubber was harder, softer, just not the same and he noticed. This ball was actually my biggest supply issue above everything else that we couldn't get. I was ecstatic to find this seller who has always been prompt and is less expensive than my local stores. The only issue is, he pops the squeaker often (due to the dog, not a product defect) and they now limit the number I can buy at once within a certain time frame but that's ok since if my guy needs these, I'm guessing other dogs do too and I'm happy that they make sure they have enough in stock for everyone.

who says dogs are color blind!

I have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars of these balls. From Chewy and also from Amazon and also from pet stores when i could find them. The trouble with them is the squeaky toy will and does come out. I had to bring one of our dogs..to vet...as it was stuck but thankfully they got it out before our dog suffocated...was very very scary. I had written to Chewy about this often...and so now when i purchase them soon as i see the whistle thingy...become loose i remove..when i try to do this it is not easy but somehow when the dog family does it is easy. ugh. anyway...so you may ask why still purchase these... well i will explain_ our dogs ONLY love this toy. they are not too easy to chew_ just issue with the whistle coming loose. the ball is not too hard to konk them out or knock out their teeth.... and they love the squeak.. Perhaps the Toy Engineers can see a better way to make the toy so the little whistle does not come loose. My dogs are my best friends and family.... and I love them more then words could ever try to express...so it is crucial we find the right toys...food...etc..when it comes to them. I will use this ball when i am around and will not leave them with it...just incase a new ball and the whistle comes loose. ALSO- one other thing. I order and order...and ask for the GREEN ball. i even now selected the GREEN ball on amazon and ordered 3 or 4 of them. They all came back RED. ugh. dogs simply do not like any other color but green! The problem with colors other then Green is they simply do not like them. A waste of a lot of money for me. They only want the GREEN. who says dogs are color blind! eh

Buyer Beware

I was super excited for these big squeaky balls for my pups. They lasted about an hour before they got the squeaker out. I had to take the red one out of my bernadoodles mouth. Now that both of the plastic squeakers are out, we will see how long the rubber ball part lasts!

Very easy to pull out squeaker

We got this as our other dog had one from years ago and was still in good condition despite being played with for a couple of years, however the new pup managed to get the squeaker out after a few months, so we replaced it with this one, I did note other reviews saying the squeaker weld is no where near as good as the old ones and they were right, this one didn't last two hours before he managed to pull it out, absolutely useless I do not recommend, on the plus side it did come 3 weeks earlier than the 8 it originally stated.

It takes a long time to "kill" the squeak.

I have a very destructive staffy who loves squeaky toys however, they only usually last for about 10 minutes (if that), but this ball lasts for weeks of vigorous chewing before the squeak finally dies.

Ok but squeaker broke within minutes

Iv had these balls before & they’ve lasted a lot longer,I don’t know why the squeaker broke I don’t know if it may have already being damaged a little in delivery,within minutes of my dog playing with it the squeaker stopped & you could hear something rattling around inside,my dog loves the squeaker aspect of it so he seems disappointed now which in turn is disappointing for me.It may have also being just a faulty ball Iv had these before & they lasted a long time.Looks like I’m going to have to buy another.

We're Great But....

The first one of these was got was a red one (you have no choice of colour) it was strong rubber & the squeak was very loud which was great for getting our dogs attention. It was so good we bought another one. A green one came, nowhere near as strong rubber and squeak hardly audable so we took a chance & ordered a third in the hopes the green was a poor one off or made in a different country. A blue one came, sadly the same as the green one. I don't know if JW have moved their manufacturing to a different company but I won't be taking a chance on ordering another one, they're not cheap. Such a shame as the original red one with the loud squeak was an excellent buy.

These Squeaky Balls for Dogs Are Rubbish and Dangerous - DO NOT PURCHASE

See my pictures of the large JW I-Squeak after just 15 minutes use by my dogs. The JW i-Squeak Ball (large) used to be the best for our Old English Sheepdogs, lasting around 3 months before succumbing to their continuous use. Around 18 months ago, quality dropped when the previous welded in squeak, appeared just to be a pressed plastic insert with no bonding, but reinserting the squeak kept them serviceable for a few months. Recently, they added an airhole near the inserted squeak and now in just a few minutes , the dogs have torn the rubber between the airhole and the squeak, destroying the ball. and making it dangerous for them to use. The are not of merchantable quality and are dangerous for dogs who may choke on the debiris, so should be banned from sale in the UK. If they are made by JW they should withdraw them from sale. If they are counterfeits then Amazon should not be selling them.
