i thought this was adorable but unfortunately my canary doesn't realize what a bathtub is. it took up most of the bottom corner and he can stand over it on one of his perches so he kind of just pooped in it instead of drinking or bathing. after we cleaned it out we tried putting fresh veggies in there to make a less messy trough-like feeding dish and thought it was going to work out because he seemed to drop less with the wider food tray and assumed he wouldn't poop in it if he saw the food, but then he pooped in it again. we cant have him pooping where he eats. one day when we get a bigger cage for him hopefully we can try to use it again and put it higher up so he doesn't drop poop in it.

Bird Eats Out of it!

I love it bit my bird will not friggin bath in it. He'll eat millet out of it. ????????????But it's so cute in my cage

Actual Measurements

Actual dimensions are: 2 1/2 in high 3/4 in x 4 in deep/ long inside tub 6 in long Obviously whoever was in charge of posting the measurements is a stranger to our different-for-no-reason "customary units system". That's ok. If your birds are roughly the size of golf balls with heads, this will work out perfectly. If your birds are larger than that, it makes an excellent food/ water trough, as another reviewer mentioned. Kind of nice because with the feet, it's slightly raised and they don't have to bend very far. Nice for treats.

Too shallow

This tub is cute, but very shallow. My Finch did not engage with it at all. They prefer their drinking water to bathe in.

Cute and works for food

This is shallow but it's durable platic so no worries over breakage. There is no way to attach it to the cage, it just sits on the bottom. I purchased for my sugar gliders with the intention of putting their food in it but decided to just leave it for something they can sit on at the bottom of the cage if they want. They somehow managed to get it from one side of the cage to the other so it's not super heavy or anything. Still, it's cute! The one I got came in red in color.

it makes for a nice make shift foraging box

I bought this bath for my two parakeets to bathe in. After a few weeks, they hardly used it, although we had no problem with the bird pooping in it. My husband put shredded paper in it for them to play with and they ended up loving that. For those that have bough it for a bird bath and had no luck with the birds enjoying it, it makes for a nice make shift foraging box.

My little guys love this tub!

I tried a bath that hung outside the cage and they liked that, but I'd have water dripping on my desk quite often, plus it took up too much room on the outside of the cage. This little tub is darling and my ten little finches love it. I'll watch and 3 or 4 will try and bath at the same time, it's so funny and cute. Water does soak the paper underneath the cage (the paper that's lining the cage), but that's OK because the wet paper helps me clean out the tray when I clean it each day. Most of the time I'll fill this little tub up twice a day and each time the water will all be used up.

Great for my purposes.

This item is as portrayed and arrived promptly. I cannot speak to it's success as a bird bath as I purchased it to used as a feed dish for my pet rat. It is great for this purpose and does what I'd hoped it would in elevating the food enough that it doesn't get bedding kicked into it. It's robust, well constructed and tolerates being washed in hot water and bleach.

The media could not be loaded. Very Good quality product???????????????????? Colour is different to whats advertised but I absolutely love this colour as well. It was an eid gift for my baby girls. My budgies hadnt had a bath yet as they are too tiny and get scared ???? but I keep toys in it and they love to play before they are ready to take a bath ????

Muy pequeña

El material me gustó, es como un silicon firme, el color esta bien,pero es muy pequeña para que se bañen ahi, no llega ni a los dos centímetros de profundidad, de ancho unos 5 cm y de largo unos 11 cm en lo que es el area de adentro, probablemente funcione para canarios o aves muy pequeñas, pero no para periquitos, como comedero no lo recomiendo ya que al estar en el piso se ensucia de popo jeje,

Calidad de material buena, se ve muy mona pero es pequeña y mis aves no se bañan a gusto así que termine quitándole de la jaula
