It worked great!

I needed to trace some coaxial lines in my house and this worked great. Plugged it into the wall jack in the living room. Took the "Squeaker" up into the attic and knew which line was which. This is a great basic coaxial mapping tool for the professional or the home owner.

Quality built product.

I have not used this a great deal since purchase but I have tested it out and it performs nicely. Build quality seems really nice too.

Used it before works great but

I’ve always had one of these since I’m all around Tech and when toning or troubleshooting a single line this makes your life a lot easier. But I just got one on August 20th and it’s already broken. I’m guessing most likely the speaker but it didn’t even make it to three months. He’ll it didn’t even give me a chance to loose it, which is what happened to my previous ones. Just sucks that it didn’t even lasted at all. But good tool to have.

Great until it falls apart..

The stinger part of the coaxial slip on just popped out and keeps pulling out every use, not the greatest quality it seems structurally. Works great otherwise. Jonard doesn’t usually let me down, but a little frustrated since I spent my own money for a work tool.

A huge time saver.

I quickly located the problem. (A bad splitter) saved me a ton of time attempting to locate the problem with my multimeter. This one is a really good tool.

Product works intermittently

I am a telcommunications installer/technician and require multiple styles of toners daily for coax, cat 3 and cat 5. I purchased this toner specifically for coax toning as I already have a different style toner for my cat 3 & 5 runs. Over the last week that I have been using this product I have had it work about 50% and not work the other 50%, even when testing from behind that wall plate with no splitters and new coax connectors installed on both the outlet end and the connector end in the Network Interface box outside. So I have basically had to use the force connect the equipment to the proper outlet and reconfigure the lines in the NIB until I get active service. Any ideas why this toner is only working half the time? I even traced a line which didn't tone which was a fairly recently installed RG6 from the outlet along the outside of the home and to the NIB and was able to confirm no splices or splits and was a direct run. Any help would be appreciated.

Das Prüfgerät zeigt sehr zuverlässig Kurzschlüsse in coax kabeln an . was mich allerdings sauer macht ist, dass keine Bedienungsanleitung dabei ist. Man muss alles auf Youtube anschauen. Es gibt auch online keine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung. Es wird auch per ups versendet. Leider ist unser ups Fahrer eine ziemliche Katastrophe. Er stellt die Ware nicht mal zu sondern liefert es in einen Shop. Sehr ärgerlich für mich. Ich jedenfall werde nichts mehr über ups mir liefern lassen.

Loud and reliable

Speaker was quite loud and worked like a charm. Comes with a handy male/female adapter which I didn't realize I'd need.. But I did for my project and it just so happened to be included. Easily allowed me to sort out the mess of coax cables in the basement.

So easy.

Worked exactly as advertised. I had a jungle of cables in the basement, most disconnected after satellite install. This little tool allowed me to trace the wire I wanted to find in less than a minute. So easy.
