Great picks
These are great pics, I switched over to these a few years ago when I’m doing individual picking it just has a longer reach when I’m playing acoustic and has some texture with ribs, plenty of service to hold onto. They are my go to pick for any job electric or acoustic.

Only Pick I Have used for 35 years
I play both Bass and Guitar. 99% of the time when I play bass, I use my fingers ... but that 1% of the time you need a pick with some meat for the bass. This one cuts it nicely. Same with guitar. I've been playing guitar for a long long time, and if you want those speed licks, you need a pick that is responsive and firm so that you know exactly where it's going to be when you attack the next note. As for the shape, yes ... it's a bit of an oddity, but that curved notch sits right on your index finger. If you've ever gigged under hot lights, and you are playing and singing, and sweating your ass off, it's real easy for your pick to slip in your fingers, and change it's orientation so you're not playing with the tip any more. The indenture helps get that pick oriented properly without even needing to look down, and helps you keep it straight. I sometimes use the teeth for extra chunk, but that plays no part in why I love this pick.

My ONLY pick now.
After using these for a while I find 'normal' sized picks too small and too hard to hold on to. I love these for overall acoustic use. Planning to try the next heavier gauge also.

Dunlop's are the Best !
Time tested , through and through , these are my preferred picks without a doubt and shark fins are like a multi tools you should try them to , a perfect pick in shape a size it's the little things you should buy .

Trevor Rabin, YES's third guitar player, uses this style of pick.
I don't use picks very often because most of them don't feel right. I had several of these picks thirty years ago. But now none of the local music stores carry the Shark Fin pick. Finger picking is fine, but I'm getting lazy and just want to have some easy strumming fun. Receiving these Shark Fin picks was like Christmas in my mailbox. And they work great. I just tested one.

fins.
i don't know why, but i've used these things exclusively for 20 years. i don't really take advantage of the ridges, but the top fin and cutaway sits in a way that i tend not to drop picks when i play, and i pick pretty hard. and they're tortex, so they last forever too!

I simply love these guitar picks
I simply love these guitar picks...in fact that goes for the whole series...used to get them at my local but sadly out of business now...so I order online...POINT OF FACT: these picks offer multiple options...need grit then use the sculpted side on your strings...fast/double picking use the pointier end and for a full/softer sound the rounded end...oh and another cool idea use the concave end to double strike the strings at a slight angle done correctly you can achieve a sort of delay sound with out having an actual pedal delay...all in all...just experiment...ENJOY !

Awsome!
I've always wondered how I would like these picks and now I know that they are awesome. I would like to list some points #1 They are very useful for any type of style, you can hold it like a normal pick, turn it to the side and make the guitar sound like it has some effects on it, or hold it the other way and it will be a little easier to play for beginers. I have a Taylor 416ce and it plays beautifully with my guitar #2 Flexibility. These picks are almost industructible and if your like me and need the flexibility then you will love these picks In conclusion I really had no problems with these picks and I'm happy with the preformance. Would I suggest these picks? Yes! -Derek
