Ramp Safety
I love these non-slip treads. They are excellent for my wooden ramp that I use at my workshop. When it rains or dew these treads give you excellent traction and removes all the worry of slipping and falling. A must have if you have a ramp that you walk on and removes slipping and falling. Excellent product and very inexpensive in comparison to a slip and fall.

Only stuck to metal ladder steps a few weeks.
Nice surface to prevent slipping. I followed directions and cleaned the surfaces well, but only stuck to metal ladder steps a few weeks with little use. ????

Helps my older dog stay steady instead of crash.
I bought these to place on tile and wood steps for my senior dog's safety. She was slipping because her back legs are not as strong as they used to be. I noticed that she was having a difficult time even on 1-3 steps. She looked as if she was very close to careening off the stairs. I thought I might have to get a ramp. But, after reading some of the other reviews and the positive results they had with their older dogs, I decided to try these. They work great! She still is wobbly but she has much better grip and control now. The only thing that's not great with these...I have long stairs so I added a half of one to another. I butted the two ends together squarely on the wood steps. Over a month's time, the two pieces have slowly migrated apart. Now there is an 3/16" gap between the two pieces on all 3 wood steps. I don't know how this can happen but it has. The strips I put on the tile seem to have stayed put in place much better. By the way, I power washed the area BEFORE I placed the pieces down so it was clean and so the adhesive would stick best. UPDATE: December 1, 2015: The corners are coming up on the pieces that I laid down onto wooden steps. I ended up putting two together as my steps were long. I butted them up to one another but in that first week, they slowly began to separate. There is now a 1/8"- 1/4" gap between the piece where there wasn't any when I first put them down. The ones I placed on tile steps are still in tact and fine.

NORMAL FLIGHTS OF STAIRS HAVE 12 STAIRS
Okay, so I know the ad for this clearly states that there are only 10 non slip stickers in the package, and yes, I know that I'm the idiot that didn't bother to count my basement stairs b/c it's a standard ceiling height and I ASSUMED these things would come packaged for standard flights of stairs. I also know that making assumptions is a good way to makes an a** out of your self. Nonetheless, it's annoying that I'm two tracks short, and I don't see any alternate packages that included 12; therefore, I feel just the tiniest bit cheated and I want to make it a point that you can't be lazy...you need to check how many stairs you have. Other than that, the product is TOTALLY effective. I used TSP to clean my very smoothly worn wooden steps in my basement. I let them dry for 24 hrs, and then put these down a few days ago. They're very easy to work with. They stick down immediately, but they don't stick to you as you're trying to peel the back off. I put down four tracks at the bottom of the stairs where I've slipped a couple of times (poor lighting, tight quarters, and maneuvering over-full laundry baskets has led to some painful klutzy mistakes down there). Then I put my 2.5 year old on the stairs in shorts and asked her whether she preferred crawling up the new bottom black steps or the blue wood steps. She said she preferred the black traction, so I went ahead and taped down the remaining traction stickers. In other words, there's enough texture I feel my shoe gripping with each step, but they're not too rough toddlers for toddlers to crawl up and down.

You Go Dog!
I was at wits end about what to do with my old dogs and the wooden stairs. The last one, before she passed on, just gave up and would nose dive down the stairs on her belly. That had to be painful. My oldest, now, was having trouble with the stairs, and I am in no position to pay for a broken leg or hip, and at her age . . . well, what's the point; she's just hanging on day-by-day as it is. Every day, I'd listen to see if she made it up the stairs or not-- with fear in my heart that she was going to fall down the stairs before I could get there. The anxiety was awful! Plus, I have a 100-pound dog who is going blind from glaucoma. I had to do something! This stuff is great! I could easily afford it. And, as soon as I put it down, my poor old broken, blind dog was running up and down the stairs again. She's had a couple of mishaps, and that is to be expected at her age. But, overall this stuff is great! I thought it would be ugly. It's not. And, it vacuums up well. I just love this stuff! I have no more fear any longer that she's going to fall backwards and kill herself. Or worse, yet--not kill herself, but do repairable damage. Thank you, Safety Track people! You've saved me endless worry over this problem. And, I'm so happy! P.S. Someone mentioned that the stuff arrives wrinkled in the package. Yes. It does. But, I took it out of the package and put it under a heavy box overnight and it was fine the next morning. I also trimmed one inch off of each side before I put it down. My stairs weren't wide enough otherwise.

do not waste your money
I purchased this item for a wheel chair ramp. The first day I installed them they were great, but there is always a but the next day they all started to lift and would not stick. I had to add adhesive to them. Well that worked for a week then they all started to dry up and crack and tear. Now I have to remove them and find some thing better. Found some at dollar store in Nova Scotia and they are perfect forth picture is the dollar store.

The clear version seemed more solid, the ‘glow’ version not so much.
Bought a pack of clear and a pack of ‘glow’ version. Easy to install. The clear version is very visible but serves the intended function. The ‘glow’ version was installed on stairs leading to basement, not much ‘glow’ that I can see. But it is white, so the steps are very visible. I bought this for my aging 72lbs dog, she was getting nervous with the slippery wooden stairs. But the white ‘glow; version is not going to last, she managed to gauge out a few patches on her first trip down the steps.

Easy to reposition if needed
Used for new and newly-stained basement stairs, with painter's tape as a guide on one side. My dad's old wallpaper edge-roller (small and sized for one hand) was ideal to smooth out once it's set, moving from one side to the other. Set the right-hand edge up to the tape and ease the front edge to the lip of the stair. Smooth out slowly with the edge of your hand, then the roller. Only took a few minutes for all nine steps; looks good if I do say so myself.

This product provides excellent non-slip traction!!
Bought these so the dog could get some traction on the stairs. Definitely no more slipping and they were easy to install. They are not quite invisible but close enough and they are very comfortable to walk on in your bare feet. I am very pleased with this purchase and would say that it met my criteria 100%.
