Great sunhat

Loved this hat so much that I just bought another for my now giant headed baby. Because of the straps, she can’t pull it off. We take it hiking all the time and it is very breathable and has great coverage. Will keep buying as she grows!

Very stretchy

Def perfect for the pool. Although if you get it in white it does stain pretty easily but besides that it’s breathable and super stretchy for our babies.

Great style

Okay, so, full disclosure: my children hardly wear these, because they hate hats. My review is based off the minimal amount of time I *do* get them to leave them on. For reference, I have a 4yo and a 2yo. My kids definitely prefer this cut over a bucket-style hat, as the firmer brim gives them better visibility. The fabric is light and very breathable. The drape on the neck is just right - long enough to cover everything well, but not so long or broad that it is bothersome. Has the right amount of stretch to fit a good size range. My 4yo is teeny, but also has a lot of hair, and my 2yo has a huge head; I got them both the same size, and it fit both of them well, and probably will fit certainly next year and maybe even longer. My children are super ultra fair skinned, so I do still try to make them wear these whenever I can. The color is bright and true to the photos. My one wish is that the chin ties would be velcro, and shorter. I think the length of the ties under their chins is what draws their attention to the fact that theyre wearing the hat, and causes them to pull it off. I've considered just cutting them off, but then the hats would likely just fall off since they are pretty active, vigorous play-ers. Would still recommend to others and would purchase again. I love i-play products. We have used their swim diapers for 4 years, on two children of very different proportions, and they're great quality.

Perfect for Baby

We've been using this hat for the whole summer when we take the dog for walks, but we got so many compliments from family on our recent vacation. It's the perfect soft material that doesn't bother the baby and it fits super well with lots of stretch for growth. I love that the bill is soft and flexible too in case the baby falls asleep in it. We had the bill flipped up quite a lot for when babe was on his tummy in the sand, or laying down on my shoulder. I highly recommend this hat!

Best kids hat out there

Pros: protective from sub, soft, chin tie, neck flap on back. This is better than the other I play hat versions. This fabric is more breathable, and is full of tiny holes for airflow. Cons: head part isn’t adjustable but has elastic. Fits fine, but maybe be a little larger on a small baby. Wish it came in more colors or patterns. Overall: this is the only hat you need for summer for babies. Excellent hat, it’s the only one I would ever buy after testing many. Best feature is the neck flap. Keeps baby covered from the sun.

Good hat, runs small

My baby tolerates this hat more than others of a similar style. It is easy to pack into the diaper bag, good for swimming, and cute. It runs on the small side. My baby’s head is just a little over average and the 9-18 mo sized hat is now tight at 13 months old.

Good protection from the sun.

Very cute and practical for keeping my grandson’s head and back of his neck protected from the sun. A good fit, nice material and it arrived super quick. I ordered a second one!

This is not IPLAY brand!

Do you spend your money on this product. I stand behind the Iplay brand and buy these hats every summer for my kids. This one that I paid for is not actually Iplay but that a very cheap knock off version. Iplay has the yellow sun on the back of the hat where you can adjust the tightness and the hat that I got doesn't have the yellow sun and also has an obnoxious tag with washing instructions on the outside of the hat.

Weird shape

I used to love these Iplay hats however this one has a strange cone shape. Because of the shape of the top, I find i have to pull the hat down pretty low for it to fit properly. I don’t love this hat but too late to return.

Proteje del sol pero hace sudar al bebé

Me gustó el sombrero con protección solar, se ve lindo, me parece que si proteje del sol, pero en clima cálido hace que la cabeza del bebé sude mucho, así que tuve que buscar otra opción que fuera fabricado con fibras naturales como el bambú.
