Second dispenser working well so far

I attached three photos. Original faucets and new main after remodel (1); upgraded faucets w brushed brass insinkerator hot water dispenser (2), final fix with working insinkerator French gold hot water dispenser that works and doesn't drip. Since my kitchen upgrade in 2018 I kept my old original insinkerator hot water, tank, dispenser and a cold water dispenser. Both are hooked up to water filtration while the main faucet is not. Water heater tanks tend to last just up to 10 years before they fail, I'm at the tail end of my second one which is still installed. New faucet but I really wanted a brushed gold it just wasn't as available then as they are now. First picture (1) is how things looked after the remodel. Very nice but I wanted brushed gold fixtures and accents in my kitchen. In December I ordered the same Kohler faucet in brushed gold along with a Kraus water faucet. Also ordered a new dispenser but in brushed bronze. Took picture (2) after all were installed by a plumber. If you are trying to decide between the brushed bronze and French gold, the brushed bronze didn't look exactly like the photo advertised. It has much darker "brush marks" than you can see in the photo. I would have kept it as is but as others reported the faucet failed 5 minutes after install. It dripped and had a failed air valve. Took it back and decided to order another in the French gold to see if it would better match. Was not available through retail outlets so ordered on Amazon. First, it is installed and it works, no drips and from picture three (3) I think it looks better with the brushed gold faucets. French gold is a shiny gold versus the brushed brass. The outer parts of the faucet are metal so in time I will add acetone to take off the shiny top coat and work from there to better match the color. I'm in no rush. I love the look overall and am happy everything works and looks like I originally envisioned.

Replaced a leaking instant hot water faucet

A couple of points off for ease of installation because I needed to run to the hardware store to buy a compression nut and collar. For the price, I would expect InSinkErator to throw in these required items. The faucet itself is high-quality and hasn't leaked during the two or three months since installation. I will update this review if the faucet fails prematurely.

Excellent but the finish wears off in time

Product works great and lasts a long times. We have used it for a couple years. My only complaint is that the finish around the spigot and handle has worn off showing the underlying brass.

Not match champagne gold

Larger than expected. Does NOT match champagne gold faucets, so could not use.

Disappointed in the product

I bought this faucet and it was not a compatible fit. When I called the company, they said it’s under warranty so they sent another one. They sent a plumber who was out of business. Then they sent another plumber who told me that it was the same issue. When I asked the company for a refund, they insisted to send the same Fossett. The whole experience has been terrible. Why would I take another Faucet when it’s not compatible? When I tried to explain this to the service manager, Wayne, he was not helpful.

Attractive

I needed to replace my 20 plus year old InSinkErator hot water only faucet. I was shocked to find these to be so expensive. Especially if you want a gold color. But white matched just fine and after checking the price for a few weeks, I finally found it on sale. This wasn't something I could do myself, so hired a plumber to install. Seems he had quite a time getting it in place, but now that it's done, it looks very nice. Have found when you pull the lever toward you, water comes out slowly. If you want it to come faster, you can push it back and it pours quickly. After looking at so many faucets, all very pricey, I like this style the best. Hope it lasts as long as the previous faucet did.

I should have read the description more carefully to see that the heater is not included. Had to return. Bought another one that included the heater, and it was actually a little cheaper.

Great idea, inconsistent quality.

Bought to replace an identical existing tap that had started to leak from the handles. Followed all install instructions: replacement leaked from the spout instead ???? would think given the price point they could get it right.

As advertised and works well

This item came as advertised and it was fairly easy to switch out the old one with an extra set of hands. The problem is that these are pricey taps and are more expensive than they should be for after market repair of insinkerator system.

A nice addition to a kitchen.

This is a replacement for the same part that I had in place for several years. Its too bad that I had to replace it after 5 years, but i guess with the continued use, this is a good life span for the spout.

How to make Tea, soup, hot cereal or whatever in a second,

Beautiful faucet, great product, super easy to install. Make sure you have a outlet under the sink and enough space before you buy. Easy to secure the faucet to the sink/counter then two screws to hang the tank, three quick connect tubes, plug it in and it's done.
