Not level

I installed on my back French doors. Made sure to install first one perfectly level, but once I added curtain it sagged. Installed the second one at a bit of a backward angle to compensate. The curtains are almost sheer. They are very thin and light weight.

So glad I found this!

I was able to buy a used one from Amazon that had a few scratches. I think the previous owner sent it back out of frustration. The directions were a little hard to follow and didn’t seem to make sense. It looked like they had tried to force a part of the rod. It was nothing that I couldn’t deal with and it looks and works great.

Needs some adjustments

Needed traverse curtain rods for 2 sliding glass doors and a large window. The rollers do catch when pulling the curtains closed. Another issue I ran into was with the screws that secure the rod to the brackets. The screws are not flat, they have a point. When I finished installing the rod, I tried to put the screws in to secure the rods to the bracket. The outer screws would not screw in because they came to a point were too long. I actually had to file them so they would catch and screw in. I also plan on filing down the inside of the rods so that they do not catch when closed. I purchased these curtain rods for about $42 each, other retailers had them for $70 and up. I liked the look of these and after reading reviews I decided that at that price, I could deal with making some adjustments. If you do not want to make adjustments, I do not suggest purchasing these.

Works well

The rod was easy to install. Even though we used a level, the rod isn’t level, slopes away from the hinge. Not bad enough to reinstall but it’s noticeable.

Sturdy Rod

I am pleased with the strength of this product. It was easy to install and carries the weight of a lined curtain just fine. Rotates well.

Works perfectly!

We purchased this rod to hang blackout curtains with pinch pleats. The curtains are a bit heavy, so we needed the center bracket since the rod is 90 inches across. It works perfectly. It does not get caught up in the mounting brackets. Thank you!

Not worth the price for only just one wing.

I misunderstood the add when I ordered this. Thought it was for two. If I had only looked closer and read the small print I would not have ordered just one. When I realized there was only one, it was too late to return it.

Sturdy. Easy sw8ng.

Closet in cottage has odd size opening. Too narrow & too short for standard door. Have a obi purchased in Japan that fits the opening perfectly. With this rod it was easy to hang the obi and swing it open/closed, providing an interesting wallhanging that functions as the closet's door.
