Excellent swing very comfortable and son liked to swing in very comfortable seats material plugs in or battery only used plug in so not sure on battery life I believe it is rated for up to 20 lbs would check my son reached 20 lbs fairly quick loved this swing

Great quality for the price

I bought this to use when I babysit my nephew. We have only used it a handful of times but so far it has been great. The swinging has several speeds to choose from. The lights are nice for both distracting him and for being able to see him in a dark room. I have not used the sound option as I also purchased a portable white noise machine which I clip to swing. The only thing I wish was different is that there could be a way to keep the baby swaddled and use the straps. It’s far too shallow to allow baby to swing without being strapped in but strapping him in swaddled has not been successful. Also, i didn't love the position of his head and neck the first time we used it so I took the head pieced and turned it upside down so it held his head off his neck a bit better. Now that he’s a bit bigger, I do not need to do that anymore. I am sure there are better swings available but the quality for the price is great.

Does what it's supposed to

Easy to assemble. Functions as it should. No it doesn't come with a charger box, but I had plenty so it didn't matter to me. The actual seat for baby is extremely soft. My baby isn't here yet to test it out, but I don't see why I would have any malfunctions once baby arrives. You do need batteries for the seat vibration, but I decided to do without. I'm giving it 4 stars only because I think it should come with the charger box. Most people have iphones these days and the charger boxes are completely different, therefore not everyone has extra charger boxes lying around. I would understand the frustration if you bought this swing then have to go out to buy a charger box, so 4 stars.

Love love love!

My baby absolutely LOVES this swing! I got it for my baby shower and had to purchase another because of how much he loves it! He watches the light up mobile go round and round. I like that it moves automatically and I don’t have to move it for him like all the other swings I’ve seen. I wish it had a timer I can use instead of it turning off by itself every 15-20 minutes. Another thing I wish it would have is a timer in the vibration thing at the bottom. As new parents to a newborn we tent to forget to turn it off and it kills the batteries QUICK! Other than that I love it!

I see why it was cheeper.

My baby really enjoys the lights how and the mirror, but we are only 12 pounds and it wobbles a little as it swings. Definitely would not recommend leaving your baby unsupervised, even to for a few minutes. The adapter to play your own music never worked, and the fact that you have to provide your own USB to wall adapter is super annoying. The shoulder straps are also a real pain to adjust as your baby grows and it needs adjusted each time I put him in it.

Overall love but difficult to clean cover

Love this swing over all. Very easy to assemble (though I would try to have it put together before baby comes - newborn already here + toddler + single mom made it a challenge ????). Two things I really don't like: This newer model's cover cannot be removed by simply unbuckling the straps. You also have to unscrew the bar on one side to slide the sewn-on loops off. (It's the one where the incline/recline lever is). It's not incredible hard, but you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver, and it's just an added pain for an already very busy parent. The second thing I do not like is that on the frame of the swing, there is an area of the cord you plug together during assembly. My toddler loves to unplug it over and over again and again. I wish snapped into place or at least had a cover so she wouldn't be able to mess with it so easily. Other than that, my baby loves it, the quality over all is great, and I love the look of it with the cool, neutral colors.

Not actually up to 40 lbs

I bought this because my baby has had a hard time sleeping so I thought a swing would help, it does but it says that it will hold children up to 40 pounds. My baby is 20 pounds. And she barely fits in it. I wouldn’t buy for a kid Who’s over 15 or 16 pounds for a future reference. Also whenever my husband and I were putting this together none of the pieces would fit correctly they had extra plastic that made it harder to get everything to fit into the correct spaces. I still have a part that neither of us could get on because it didn’t fit! (Just the bar v that keeps the feet apart)
