An elegant keepsake

A book like this is usually ordered/needed under the most difficult of circumstances - the loss of a loved one. I ordered this to use at my own father's funeral and am very pleased with how elegant and classy this guest book is. Each page is simply lined with no specific "name, address" fields so you can use the first few pages to insert a photo or write something on your loved one's life. This also allows people to write as much or as little as they like without worrying if they are infringing on another guest's space. Think of this as a journal with a scripture verse in elegant script at the bottom of each page. Several people used an entire page to write a remembrance of my father, which encouraged others to do the same and this has become a wonderful keepsake for our family. One thing I noticed that is not included in the description is that the spine of the book has a small black elastic band that allows you to keep a pen close at hand. There is also a black satin ribbon that is used to tie the book closed.This is a very beautiful book.

Beautiful little keepsake guestbook or journal.

I ordered this at the last minute for my husband's memorial service. I was very pleased and touched when the book arrived. It was very elegant and the material and binding seemed to be of high quality. The pages are a cream or ''light sienna'' color which added to the feeling of timelessness. There is a scripture at the bottom of each page which was very comforting as I glued pictures of my husband to every other page so guests could reflect. I think the scriptures also helped people when leaving a note in the book - as many people do not know what to say at a time of grief. You should look at the dimensions before purchasing - this is about 1/2 the size of a regular photo album. Perfect for keeping tucked away to remember upon ...or in a shoebox. There were a lot of pages left over and think I may use them to write on like a journal.

Beautiful

Bought this for my Father in Laws funeral, as a former Methodist minister, the bible verses on the bottom of each page just added something special, lots of pages for everyone to write their memories and a ribbon to keep it closed.

Absolutely beautiful book

Absolutely love this. The cover is so lovely and looks so rich and stylish. Each page also has a small scripture at the bottom which adds to the book. Very good price only negative is its a bit on the small side.
