Excelent, beautiful expresso maker. But...
This is a very nice and well made coffee pot. Well constructed of very solid stainless steel material. Super easy to set up and use. The instructions are clear and very easy to understand. And you don't need a tamper to press the grinds firm. You get a delicious cup of your favorite coffee. Now, that being said. My headline. The 'But...' OK. The IMUSA USA B120-22062M Expresso Maker, ASIN B001AS5290, as shown on the Amazon product page, is advertised as producing 6 cups. For those familiar with expresso, and the commonly used and known 'demi tass' size, the standard fluid amount for that cup is 2oz. Now. I poured water into the water retainer up to the pressure valve as per the instructions, then I poured that into my kitchen measuring cup. What was the amount? A tad over 8oz. On the reverse side of the measuring cup it showed just over 250 milliliters, I'm guessing about 274ml. OK. There are 29.5735296 ml. in a fluid once. Divide that into 275oz, you get 9.2988562312156. Divide that by 2, and you get 4.6494281156078. Loosely translated, 4 and something cups. So. The '6' cup model...IS NOT 6 cups! And the product page has no mention specifically of the fluid amount per cup of coffee. I took photos of the water chamber, the steel ruler shows the water level up to 1 3/8th", then of the measuring cup with the water from that chamber. And no. It's not a fake. Like I said, this is a vey nice expresso maker. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation to them. I chose to return it, as I initially bought this coffee maker for 6 cup use. Oh well.

I've used mine for years now.
If you are looking for a mocha pot, this one is a good one. The only caution I would give is that if you live at altitude, it won't work. Not enough pressure to keep the relief valve in place, but all mocha pots would probably have the same problem. I've used mine for years, however, over several moves and I'm still happy with it.

A little smaller than advertised, but works well
Repeatability is tough to achieve, but this formula has worked for me: - The moka pot holds 250ml of water in the lower chamber. You can get a 10-20ml more in without covering the safety valve, but operation has been flawless starting with 250ml. - The basket holds 20g of finely ground coffee, loosely filled, no tamping at all. This fills the basket to capacity. I used Cafe Bustelo for testing. - The yield is about 205ml of coffee if you stop brewing as soon as it starts sputtering steam. 10-20ml left in lower chamber, but it isn't worth the bitterness to try to get more volume out of it. It would be nice if there were internal marks, so I could stop brewing at 180ml. I feel like the coffee gets bitter quickly if you let it get too hot. - I brew on my small gas burner at medium heat. Complete brew takes about 5 minutes starting with cold water. So far, there are no leaks or functional issues. Main complaint is it is a little difficult to clean. The lower chamber has a sharp edge inside the top opening. The upper chamber has an odd internal shape that makes it tough to scrub the bottom. Deep cleaning is not required, but I like to rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent scale buildup as I have very hard water.

Great Except for the Seal
Have been using this for over a year now and works great except for the seal around the filter. The seal doesn’t fit right and comes loose when you put the top on. There’s a trick to holding it in place while positioning the top before you screw it down. A little tedious when you’re making morning coffee. Once you get it right it makes great coffee

Great Small Moka Pot
I bought this from Amazon about 6 months ago. It makes great coffee in 4 minutes. It's max brewing capacity is 4 oz, which equals 4 small espresso cups, or one small coffee cup. I use it around 5 times a week, and the handle is still not loose. I was worried initially because I use a gas stove, and I thought the heat from the flames might damage the plastic handle. However, the flames don't get near it, and though it does get hot, the handle it still as it was new. One reviewer mentioned they couldn't clean the inside of the pot. There is an indent around the base inside. I just take a paper towel, fold it in fourths and run the folded corner through the groove. All clean! The base of the pot has a metal filter/strainer held in by a gasket. Every once in awhile I remove that and rinse inside. I'm just starting to think about replacing the gasket. Update: It's been almost 2 years, and I'm still using this pot almost daily. I replaced the gasket a couple of months ago, even though I'm not really sure I needed to. Everything about it is still solid. It's not as shiny, of course, but I'm not drinking the shine. Update the second: It's mid July 2020, and I've had this same pot for three and a half years, although I did buy a new filter and gaskets. I used it yesterday morning. It's still in the same condition I received it in, although discolored like old pots get. Still makes a great 4 ozs of espresso.

ML of COFFEE actually MADE
I was hoping for about 6 'espresso' cups of coffee, but like so many other pots, the size claims was misleading. Espresso cups aren't standardized. What is, is liters. Unfortunately most manufactures choose to avoid this for some reason. 6 cups at 50ml does equal 300 ml, but... that's not what you get. About 75ml stays in the pot, and I'm guessing about 25 to 50 ml would stay in the coffee grounds. So your net result is about 175 - 200 ml of coffee. See pictures. Otherwise the unit seems well made and I would recommend, but then I only used it once. On a side note SS seems to heat up faster than aluminum. And, after an hour of study online, aluminum pots don't impose a risk of health if not cleaned via a dishwasher.

Great cup of coffee
Make sure for the first time use water and let it self clean, the valve gets clean and fully open. For the first few times it will take longer then usual. After that it works great..

Encantada
Divina, la capacidad de 4 tazas se ajusta a mis necesidades, el hecho de que sea de acero inoxidable le da un acabado lustroso y es muy resistente, sin ningún problema para el uso en estufa de gas, facilísima de limpiar.
