Excellent for Bugs Too!
Water flys right off and the product is easy to apply. What was unexpected is how easily bugs come off my visor now. Once they dry, they pop right off. Had a large moth hit my visor, I was able to wipe it off with a gloves hand and still see.

Better than Rain-X
I like this stuff better than Rain-X. It goes on easy, doesn't leave a milky or cloudy film like I find Rain-X does, and requires less rubbing to 'finish'. The only down is that water tends to bead up into larger drops before it slides off the visor - Rain-x tends to start sliding off water when the drops are smaller in size. But, this stuff is clearer, goes on and comes off easier, and is in general easier to live with. A little pricey for the amount you get, but it goes a long way and the spray bottle is a convenient size. It has a vinegar-y smell so I apply this with an exhaust fan going. I'd give this a 5-star rating if the drop size was smaller when it begins to stream off the visor, and if it was about 30% cheaper...but I still like it overall. :-)

Best stuff I have tried..
I have been using this product for a little over a year and so far it has lived up to expectations and works very well. Before Nikwax I was using Motosolutions Rain Coat which is vastly inferior (think little sugar packet sized pouches of TurtleWax). The Nikwax goes on much easier, doesn't require buffing and sheds rain really well. Similar to Rain-X for a car. I've had the same bottle for about 14 months and it is nowhere near empty and I commute every day rain or shine. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the only drawback is forgetting to apply it. I generally check the forecast and if it is supposed to rain I'll apply it at the start of the week. Even if I forget there is usually enough residual stuff on my visor that it beats an untreated visor.

This item works pretty well. I use it on my windshield as ...
This item works pretty well. I use it on my windshield as well as my helmet facemask. When you have it adequately applied water just beads up and then rolls off the windshield and face mask. Makes it a lot easier to see in inclement weather. The only down side, it that you have to apply it before the rain. Sometimes we get a storm rolling through while at work. I can get to my helmet visor easily enough, but the bikes windshield is another problem... Overall I would buy it again though.

Simple application
Clean, spray, rub in. And now the rain runs off of my visor. Much better.

It Works
This is exceptionally easy to apply to the face shield, lasts a long time AND makes it very easy to wipe rain drops and more while riding in the rain, mist or fog!

Great for misty days or road spray
Doesn't do much for fog on the inside in case you are wondering but helps a lot for getting the drops to run off the outside. I went from a bike with little wind protection to one with a lot of wind protection so this was a life saver once my drops stopped getting blown off.

Works well. Best solution I've found short of "windshield wipers"
I've been using this in a very rainy climate for three years. It is not perfect but its a notable improvement over not using anything. I find that when rain builds up if I turn my head to one side and then the other the force of the wind pushes the beaded water off. MUST be reapplied after EVERY cleaning or after some time has elapsed.

Absolute charm
Works perfectly. Haven't had to slide my hand over my visor since using it. Rain just slides off. It's quite awesome to see

Great stuff, just make sure you don't rub it off during/right after a ride.
This stuff is great. I only ride a 125 so i never manage to get any real speed and rain was becoming a problem. with this stuff it isn't anymore. Some people say it doesn't work and others say it works but only if your moving. This is from my own experience using the product so hopefully will put some minds at ease before buying. Clean your visor first and make sure it's dry, apply a few sprays of nikwax to the visor and 1-2 to whatever your using to rub it in. Doing this it helps stop the nikwax from being completely absorbed into whatever rag your using to apply it and actually keep it on the visor. Make sure you don't rub to much or to little, if you feel you havn't applied enough add another spray to the visor and work it in. The next thing is, don't wash or rub the visor after it rains. This stuff is water based so it comes right off once you wipe the visor. I let the visor air dry after a ride and only reapply if i'm not using the bike again for that day or if it's been a week with no rain. I think this is where people are going wrong with the product and are rubbing it off as soon as they get off the bike so the journey home has no nikwax to keep the rain off and then they think the product doesn't work. The key is not rubbing it off once the visor gets wet, just let the visor air dry and only reapply once you feel you arn't using the bike for that day. Your probably thinking this stuff won't last due to me saying it rubs off quick, wrong. I leave mine on the visor for a week if it hasn't rained for a week and then i reapply, it might last longer but i only leave it a week. TL;DR It works, just don't rub it off once you get off the bike and let the visor air dry, only reapply after your done with the bike for that day or it hasn't rained for a week/have a lot of bugs on your visor.

This Stuff Is Essential
This stuff is brilliant. I ride all year round in all conditions doing an 80mile/day commute on the motorway. Clean the visor first with water (I usually don't even do this), then spray on the Nikwax and rub off with one of those lint cloth things (rub horizontally so the water disperses to the sides). It's like getting a new visor - the beads of water just rolls off. It needs reapplying often (probably every 50-100 miles) depending on the conditions/usage/dirt. It's a must for the biker who refuses to be beaten by the rain. Ride safe!
