Works well enough
It didn't perfectly revive my kids waterproof gloves, as they were fairly worn. It worked really well on my winter gloves since they were still in good condition. It still helped my kids gloves from being completely soaked, so that's a plus. I might put another coat on them. Think of it more like increasing water resistance and not waterproofing.

Works great! Just not enough.
Needs to come in a larger size.

Helps make gloves more water resistent, NOT waterproof.
It slows down glove saturation. It does NOT make gloves anywhere near waterproof.

Helpful Advice
I recently used Nikwax on my 5+ year old snowmobile mitts. They are very warm, but do not have a Gore-Tex or Hipora liner. The waterproofing comes from the outer-shell, which has clearly begun to wear away. My results were very good, but the directions on the back of the Nikwax are missing a key step. You need to first wet the gloves by running them under a faucet. You want all of the fabric to be damp. My mitts soaked the water right up. Once the gloves are completely damp, begin applying the Nikwax. Be generous! Dab it everywhere, especially on every seam and get between the fingers if they are gloves. I probably used a fourth of the bottle on one pair of mitts. After drying over night, I ran them under water again and it rolled right off. You couldn’t even get the fabric wet. I noticed one spot on the cuff where the water didn’t roll off, so I touched that up with a bit more Nikwax and let it dry. Super easy and effective. Just remember to wet the gloves until they are damp before applying the Nikwax and be overly generous with the product. Apply it liberally! If you found my review helpful, please press that button.

Better than nothing
I used this product on a pair of ski gloves that used to be waterproof, however the goretex or what ever was used started leaking around the thumbs. I put on a good heavy coat of the Nikwax and let it dry overnight. The next day I went sailing with some freinds, and since it is Seattle, naturally it started to pour down rain. Admittedly this was kind of a severe trial of the Nikwax since not only were we getting drenched with heavy rain, we were also pulling on the soggy lines to tack the sails. The gloves held up for about an hour before they started leaking, and they wound up like sponges at the end of the sail - about 3 hours in the pouring rain. All that having been said, I think the product would work fine if it wern't for the hauling on the wet ropes.

Easy Way to Minimize Water Absorption
Nikwax Glove Proof is a water based treatment, with a dauber style applicator, that minimizes the amount of water that leather or fabric gloves absorb. I've used it on both leather and fabric gloves with a waterproof membrane to minimize "wetting out", and on unlined deer and elk skin leather gloves to delay saturation. After treatment the gloves still have a nice feel, and their ability to "breathe" appears to be unaffected. In motorcycle applications with hard, wind driven rain, Glove Proof will definitely improve the water resistance of your gloves. In less demanding applications, the improvement is dramatic. Will Glove Proof make the outer surface of a glove waterproof - no. But, the product does work as described and will make a significant improvement in water resistance.

does what it is supposed to do
good quality. smells kind of like vinegar. works good on gloves and helps keep them repelling water. would recommend.

Waste of Money
Washed the gloves twice and applied 2 coats making sure to apply extra on the seams. It made the water bead up on the nylon fabric but I still had sopping wet gloves after 3 hours.

Glove review
Cannot say how well the waterproofing is as they have not yet been wet. The sponge press distribution is not the easiest to use. It either flow to quickly or doesn’t flow at all depending on how hard you press.

Try 2 light coats
Seemed to sort of work, I’ll give gloves another coat in case I might have missed some spots.
