PVC Heavy Duty Insulated Gloves.
Wells Lamont 194 Heavyweight Fully Coated PVC Glove, Acrylic Winter Knit Lining, 12-inch Gauntlet Cuff, One-size, Blue, by Wells Lamont. These "PVC coated gloves", are actually PVC molded over cotton gloves, with loose fuzzy hand socks inserted in the gloves, and sewn together at the cuff. These gloves have some good points and bad points. The good points are: 1.) the PVC part of the glove is very thick and can stand up to lots of wear and tear, 2.) the palm and fingers have a rough surface for gripping items, 3.) the cotton base and the pile sock lining together, give the gloves some insulation against the cold, something the PVC definitely cannot do by itself, 4.) the long gauntlet cuffs can be pulled over your coat sleeves to help keep out snow and cold air, 5.) the "one size" is large enough for people who wear a size "XX", 6.) the valleys between the fingers match the curved line on an actual hand, making it easier to grip something with all four fingers, 7.) the flat sides of the fingers help to improve the grip, 8.) the slack material on the bottom edge of the palm can fit larger hands, 9.) the gloves are large enough to be used with silk liners, (but not large enough to be used with wool or Polartec liners). Note: gloves should not be too tight, as that restricts blood flow and causes cold hands. The bad points are: 1.) the thumb is not straight, and from the side, the glove looks like a lobster claw, -this causes the deformed glove thumb to rub against the outside edge of your thumb, and your thumb ends up fighting against the molded glove thumb, 2.) while the extra ½" of finger length on the first three fingers can fit a size "XX" hand, the extra 7/8" inches of length on the pinky finger just gets in the way and impedes the grip, 3.) the lack of slack material in back of the hand knuckles makes it harder to close the fingers to grip something like a snow shovel handle, 4.) the lack of slack material between the base of the thumb and the base of the middle finger, makes it difficult to open your hand, and is about the same amount of slack that you would get in size "M" gloves. I tried wearing these gloves, but the restrictions of the gloves eventually caused the bones of my fingers, hands, and wrists to start popping and hurting. These gloves would be more roomy and not be as restricting for people wearing a size "M" or size "L", so their bones may not be getting pushed out of joint by the gloves restricting movement. Overall, I would have to give these gloves two stars, as there are better gloves available for someone wearing a size "XL". Material content: "100% PVC coating over 100% cotton shell; Lining: 100% acrylic". Glove uses: "Gasoline and diesel Fuels / Oil / Fertilizers / Cold Storage / Dilute Acids / Light Chemicals". Excellent
The best gloves to use for a ready-mix driver. You gotta rip out the liner, it will get sweaty and then stink. I use mechanics type gloves inside them and they don’t sweat or smell.

So huge! - like wearing dinner trays
I ordered these gloves for cycling in very wet, cold weather, but they are so large that they are really useless as gloves. I'm a 6-foot, normal-size man with average-size hands which get lost inside these gloves - I can't really pick up anything with them and I can just barely hold onto my handlebars with them. The gloves are completely watertight, but they get wet from the inside - from sweat and rain running down your arms (you can't always hold your hands up - not even on your handlebars). Unless you have absolutely huge hands, these gloves won't really work for you.

Best winter chore gloves
These gloves are perfect for outdoor chores in the winter. The dexterity is alright it takes a little getting used to but its more then manageable. If you have a job where you need your bare hand you can easily slip these glove on and off with one hand. They are warm enough to about 5F below after that they start to get a little stiff. The only draw backs is that while they keep water out, they also keep moisture in so you need to prop them open to dry at the end of the day. I buy all of my crew these gloves to do ranch work in the winter, they keep our hands warm and dry and when they get gross you just put them on and wash them like your washing your hands and they are good to go. They are also surprisingly durable. Definite 2 thumbs up!

4 1/2 stars. Good buy.
Very good for cold, wet conditions. I have two pairs of the same gloves without the insulation for warm weather and needed something warmer for late winter/early spring. In fact, they came in handy in tonight's cold wet conditions. They are very warm and waterproof and they are thick enough that they will stand up to wear. The only drawback is that, as mentioned in other reviews, they are somewhat large, even for my XXL hands and don't offer great dexterity. They slip on and off quickly, so it's easier to just take them off to use keys, use a pen, etc. I think they would be nearly perfect if they were a bit smaller. A good buy and I'm glad I bought them.

Pretty good, but..
They work ok for moderately cold temps. I am in West Texas and when the wind blows or it gets down below 30° , your fingers will get numb if you're out for too long. I have been looking for some type of really thin glove to wear under these but haven't found anything locally yet. I bought two pairs and haven't used them for very long, so I can't comment on longevity but they feel nice and thick and fairly sturdy. One thing I will say is that they are WAY better at keeping your hands warm than regular neoprene/rubber gloves that your company will most likely give you.

They work but they make your hands smell....
So my husband uses these for snow removal when handling salt or having to apply salt to walkways etc. and they do keep his hands dry and not shriveled from the salt; HOWEVER, because they are water proof, they don't breath...and because they don't breath his hands sweat and due to the hand sweating the gloves start to stink. Now you may be thinking, okay not a big deal just wash them! Well we do...and if you can make it through the night or like 5 hours of 'hockey bag' smell wafting from your hands than you are good to go. Also, it takes a while for them to dry even if you put them on a vent with direct air flowing into them because the fingers are floppy and the air has a hard time getting in there. I suppose if you had a contraption that kept the glove and fingers open on a high blowing heat source then it would dry much quicker ( we have left them on the vent for 2+ days and they were still damp and a bit smelly). So! Gloves work excellent for keeping hands free from salt or water contact but they make your hands swet and super smell and take forever to dry after you wash them. :)

Best gloves
These gloves are great for snow removal because they don't get wet inside, nor does salt ever get in when handling salt. Very warm inside because of the lining. It's one size and fit big even on large hands so smaller hands may have trouble with grip unless you use an extra pair of gloves to fill in the space. Easy to put on and off without them coming off on their own. Cuffs are made with a high quality material and are wide enough to comfortably put on and take off these gloves anytime. Gripped hands. Bonus ability to handle any chemical. For how simple these gloves are and the many possible industrial uses for them, they're extremely valuable. No other glove could beat these for any applicable tasks unless they were cheaper and made almost the same way (and maybe a bit slimmer)

Wells Lamont 194 Heavy Duty PVC Coated Work Gloves with Winter Lining
These gloves are DEFINITELY a GREAT purchase. They are EXACTLY as advertised - suitable for COLD WINTER conditions. I had initially been concerned about only "one size" availability. However, the size proved to be quite reasonable. My hands are approx "medium-to-large", and I was able to easily fit a "second" pair of winter gloves "inside" the Wells Lamont 194 Heavy Duty PVC Coated Work Gloves. I was also VERY impressed with the INCREDIBLY FAST delivery by AMAZON - It only took 2 days to arrive. Thanks BIG time !!!

In my opinion, this product is intended for light or personal/residential use.
1. These gloves are advertised as “one size fits all,” but I have a hard time believing that. I usually wear a size large glove and can even wear a size extra large since my hands are slightly larger than average but these gloves were too big for me. I had to wear liner gloves underneath so that it would be a comfortable fit. 2. I do snow removal during the winter months as employment, and was looking for a pair of waterproof gloves. As long as the outer layer is completely intact, these gloves are actually 100% waterproof. However, my gloves wore down in between the thumb and index finger which created a small hole in the material and caused the gloves to no longer be waterproof. I was not overly rough with these gloves and took good care of them, but after a couple weeks they started to deteriorate. I do believe though, that these gloves would be appropriate for light use. 3. These gloves do not provide much warmth- they simply protect from external moisture and wind. 4. Due to the waterproofing, these gloves become stinky very quickly. I’ve found the inside of the gloves to be difficult to clean. As a result, your hands stay smelly even after having removed the gloves for quite some time. 5. Overall, I would only recommend these gloves if the intended purpose was for around the house. If you intend to use them for work or anything more involved, look elsewhere.

Nice pair ya got there.
Great quality. As a car wash guy, these keep my hands extra warm (especially in the winter) and to boot, the level of water resistance is insane. You can dip the tips of the fingers of these things in water for at least 6-10 seconds before the water comes through. Even then, it barely penetrates through and dries fast from inside the wonderfully insulated gloves. Worth the price, great quality. No idea if you can touch a screen with it though, these gloves are for working.
