Stimulating Toy for Dogs
My Yorkie is exceptionally intelligent, so he requires toys and activities that really challenge him. This toy works well for him, especially, since at 6lbs, he must navigate and maneuver the surface - he is so small that he must stand on the pads that he has to “peel back”. That is an extra layer of complexity that larger dogs might not have to deal with. It keeps his interest until he’s uncovered all the treats. This toy is a much better alternative to shag-carpet-like alternatives (much more challenging). Signs of wear on the pads appeared after the 2nd use. They are durable enough for a small dog, but might hold up to a larger, stronger dog.

Outrageously expensive for what it is
I am always looking for ways to keep my dog occupied. This is not that. It maybe took him 5 min to take find the treats and then he lost interest. I guess if he loved it and it kept him busy for 30 min or more, I'd be thrilled. BTW this thing is HUGE - much bigger than I was expecting so pay attention to the dimensions. Also, all the comments about the tabs being weak are true. For what you pay, it should be sturdier. I am returning it.

Arrived Today And My Dog Was Worn Out In 30 Minutes!!!
The iDig was an immediate hit with my dog. She is definitely a digger! She digs at everything, even the bed covers, which is why I ended up buying the iDig. The iDig is completely assembled, so all you need to do is remove it from the box and insert treats and/or toys into the many hidden pockets and under the three flaps. The flaps are removable and machine washable (cold, gentle), and hang dry. They are made of a very sturdy material (canvas?), with a heavy duty screen in one. There are tiny plugs that turn so you can move the flaps around into the other slots (or remove) as well as interchange the flaps. You can order more flaps to customize your iDig for your dog. The flaps remind me a lot of the material of the sails from my sailboats. The photo shows a fluffy, pillow-looking item, but the flaps are all flat (unless you put a pillow underneath). The base is a sturdy, hard plastic ring. It's large enough that my dog (14 lbs) can use it as a bed, if she wants. It's still small enough to be able to use in many places. It's about the size of a pillow, maybe a bit wider. The base seems to be easy to clean with a good spray and wipe down. Everything seems to be very sturdy and well put together. As soon as I pulled the iDig out of the box and set it on the bed, my dog was ready to check it out! As I started filling it with treats, she was watching and ready for me to let her start. She sniffed and dug for 30 minutes, taking breaks only to get water. With it being Winter, we haven't been able to get out for her to get exercise. The iDig is great for getting exercise for your dog! She was panting like she had been running! She's sleeping now, and seems very content. I highly recommend the iDig for those who have a digger!

Fun, but way over priced
My pug puppy loves this toy, but let’s be honest…it’s worth about $40 max. I wouldn’t buy it again at the current price. There’s just no reason for it being that pricey.

Tabs break easily
My dog loves digging through the flaps and in the pockets BUT the very small plastic tabs that hold them in the bed break waaay tooo easy. ( my puppy pulled them of) Make those sturdier and it would be worth the money.

GREAT ACTIVE FORF YOUR DOG
I purchased this item to keep my Minature Australian Shepherd active on these rainy and cold days. She played with it for about an hour tonight and took a five hour nap. Whixh she has never taken so long of a nap. It must have tired her out and I am so happy.

Not a challenge, at all.
My 1 year old Swedish Vallhund discovered very quickly that she can pull the flaps with her teeth hard enough to pop the tabs out of the holes, freeing the flap from the plastic base. This toy is quite expensive, but doesn't really work for any dog with a modicum of ingenuity.

A great find for my digging dachshund
I struggle to keep my mini dachshund entertained inside since she doesn’t really enjoy fetch and she only plays with toys to destroy them. She also loves to dig. I’ve been eying this toy for a while but was unsure about the price, especially since I didn’t know if she would like it. We decided to buy it for her for Christmas and it has been an instant hit. There are numerous pockets to hide treats in, which keeps her occupied for a good amount of time. I can tell it tires her out because when she’s done finding all the treats, she goes to lay down and take a nap. We’re truly pleased at how much she loves this toy! I don’t know if I recommend the toy for a larger dog or a really strong chewer (our doxie does like to chew but I wouldn’t say she’s a strong chewer, just a determined one). The flaps might get torn easier with a more aggressive chewer, but I can’t be sure. They do seem durable, and the iFetch website (the company who makes the toy) has flaps for sale individually in case something rips. Overall, extremely happy with this toy!

plastic toggles for puppies to chew-not a good idea
This is a very expensive product and does help to discourage digging in the yard. Our puppy really likes it, but the toggles holding the canvas in place are plastic. She has chewed through most of them. She has also been able to chew through a part of one of the canvas covers. I would not recommend this due to the plastic pieces and that there doesn't seem to be other options for securing the canvas covers in place.

Bought for my Kitten
My cat likes to dig in the bed covers so I thought I would try this and am very happy with the purchase, I don't know why they just advertise this for dogs. My cat plays with it every day, I put cat toys and catnip in the pockets, when he gets tired he sleeps in it. I've had for a couple of months, the quality seems good so far, it's fairly lightweight, it's a bit pricey but over time if he continues to use it the cost will be worthwhile.

One of my more regrettable purchases
For the price I would have expected better quality. Stitching started to unravel within two months of light use. Basically a glorified and overpriced snuffle mat. Not entirely useless, but nothing you couldn't achieve yourself with some treats hidden under a blanket.

My dog cant get enough of this!
My corgi is super active and very intelligent. Working from home now, he wants me to play with him all day! I cant! lol. The dig is perfect - I fill it with kibble - and he works at it for hours.
