Marathon approved

I have a running vest and a very small running backpack. Both are cheap but generally do the job with the exception of the standard water bladder. Enter the HydraPak. Tested it for a few weeks leading up to a marathon. No leakage, no damage to the bladder overall nor deterioration. Just as important to me was flow. When doing a very long distance run pacing your breathing is key; the last thing you want to do is be sucking way too hard on a cruddy valve and ruining your breathing. Definitely had very good flow using this valve. The true test was the Paris marathon. Knowing the support (food, liquids, etc) would be more sparse compared to other marathons I wisely took this bladder. It allowed me to skip most of the water stations without slowing down unlike the majority of runners. Most importantly of course it kept me hydrated and with my personal electrolyte mix kept my legs for seizing up. Care and maintenance: others claim to put it through the dishwasher. Putting something plastic or silicone through the dishwasher always sounds like a good way to destroy it in my opinion. I hand clean mine after each run, rinsing out the bladder and hose before hanging both to air dry.

Great hydration bladder

This fits perfectly in my Salomon Active Skin 4. I really like that you can turn it inside out to clean it. The bite valve also has a good flow and I have not had any kind of issues with leaks.

Love it!!!

I bought this to replace the pouch that came with my camelback that was leaking all over the place. This one is great! It seals really well. It's not leaking. It stays in place inside my camelback. I love it! It makes my runs/hikes easy! Just finished a half marathon today and it was great to have my camelback with my electrolytes and not have to worry about water leaking on my back. I definitely recommend this pouch for anyone!

Amazing water taste

Finally got around to replacing our camel back water bladders from 20 years ago. These new ones are great!!! The taste is clean, the cleaning if easy, and they are tough and can endure some toughness. These are great, we’ve bought 3!!

Versatile

Needed to find a bladder to fit a running backpack. Was pleasantly surprised to see how perfectly this fit. Even better, it fits into a running vest too so really excited that I can get multiple uses.

Lasted 2 uses

Bought this to use for running. Used it literally two times. Have you ever ran in 30 degree weather and had water unknowingly leak out all over and down your back, into your pants, down your leg, and into your shoe? I know what you're thinking, he probably peed himself and he is trying to hide it by blaming the water bladder. I wish I was folks. Shoot, I thought maybe I was so cold I just didn't feel the pee. I did a gear check and the bladder had a hole in the bottom seam and was literally gushing out. Not a good feeling to be all wet when it's cold out, but more importantly, be several miles from home and out on an 18 mile training run and now have no hydration. Very disappointed that it was durable enough to only make it 2 runs and to make me feel like I maybe had incontinence issues. In all seriousness, quite a waste of money and terrible quality.

Perfect pack for Solomon advance skin loading packs

This is my second HydraPak water for my Solomon running vests and they have lasted and performed extremely well. I’ve been using my previous one for four years and recently had to replace (under warranty) the quick connector which HydraPak was sooo good about. I like some of the very minor improvements on this bladder over the previous one and I expect it will last just as long. I use these bladders in my Solomon advanced skin running packs. They fit perfectly. They get used for medium to long trail runs.

Zero Aftertaste

The day before my race last weekend, my 1.5bladder quick connect broke, so I replaced it with an older one I had on hand...which also broke. Thankfully, I was able to get this one on same day delivery and knew that I was going to have to live with plastic tasting water for this race, because bladders always have a bit of a funk the first few times. I was absolutely wrong. This is the best tasting water bladder I have ever tried (and I have a bit of a hydration pack problem so I have been through a ton of them). Zero funky aftertaste, I hand washed it once and it was ready to go.

Federleicht. Viel Durchfluss.

Sehr leichte Trinkblase. Das Material fühlt sich dennoch stabil an. Das Mundstück bietet sehr viel Durchfluss, verglichen mit dem Schlauch von Deuter. Leider lässt sich das Mundstück etwas zu leicht betätigen, so dass es teilweise zur Aktivierung beim Tragen kommt. Dennoch kann ich die Blase sehr empfehlen. Sie hat angelibch keine Silberionen oder ähnliche Zusätze womit sie auch gut für Kinder geeignet sein sollte.

Trinkblase ist nicht dicht!

Aktuell nur 1 Stern, da die Trinkblase nicht dicht ist und somit in keiner Weise ihren Zweck erfüllt. Ich habe problemlos über Amazon einen Austausch veranlasst. Wenn die neue Trinkblase funktioniert - wird die Rezension angepasst.

Gewohnte Qualität auf höchstem Niveau

Nutze schon seit längerem Trinkblasen von Hydrapak. Dieses mal eine etwas kleinere, doch auch hier wie gewohnt erstklassige Qualität und Verarbeitung. Kein Kunststoffgeschmack und astreine Funktion bei minimalen Gewicht. Klare Empfehlung.
