Great sway control
I bought this to supplement the one my hitch came with, I pulled a 35’ camper from Pennsylvania to Alabama. I had to make some fine tuning adjustments as I had it too tight at first. Then too loose, but I eventually (about 100 miles) found the sweet spot. I drove almost 1000 miles with zero issues. Highly recommend if trailering longer trailers for long distances.

You need to understand that......
you will NOT be able to make tight turns or back up in other than a straight line while this unit is in place. Even pulling out of a driveway will mean you can't have this unit tightened. With the above in mind, you will, necessarily, be subjecting yourself to potentially fatal exposure as you get out of your vehicle in heavy traffic to loosen or tighten this unit. For long, basically straight, trips, two of these units, on your WD hitch, will make for smooth sailing. You'll routinely hit 70-75 mph with no white knuckle incidents. Forget to loosen them, though, when you pull into a gas station, or make a tight turn, and they'll be torn up and/or tear up the rear of your tow vehicle. Only you can decide your priorities, here. Good luck!

Better control in strong cross winds.
I tow a 6,700 lb trailer with my F250 and have had minor sway in the past while towing with strong cross winds, even with one seat bar on the passenger side. I bought this before a 3,000 mile, two week camping trip from California, through Utah, then Oregon. The route I took is known for winds that blow over semi's regularly. This sway bar was extremely easy to install. During the trip, I drove through an area in Northern Utah with some good cross winds. I pulled over and gave both left and right bats an extra turn to tighten more. After, I felt the cross winds push the side of the trailer and truck at the same time, keeping both perfectly straight. I HIGHLY recommend a sway bars on both sides, especially for the price.

added this as a second sway control bar
high quality, built well. I added this as a second bar to my first one to provide more stability. with both bars Left and Right) I barely notice that I have a 9000 lb trailer behind be. especially when I get passed by Semis. install was simple. basically a few measurements and drill 6 holes. one thing I did was add a split lock-washer to each screw. peace of mind for me to be sure the screws don't back out.

Extra stability
Just used this week in very windy conditions and it seems to make the camper more stable So far happy with this

Night and Day difference
After almost flipping our large tent trailer doing a fish-tail down a hill, this was a must. It does the trick great. Bolted right on to the tongue of the trailer, and just needed to weld the bar off to the side of the hitch. I love the adjustable nature because I can crank it down tighter when I am hauling the trailer full of water which needs the additional resistance.

Good product that works the same as the more expensive (and mechanically identical) competition.
After seeing a few of these sway bars, I'm convinced they are mechanically the same, just some have a rubber cover over the handle and others do not. Essentially the same product, but you are paying for a name. I purchased this in conjunction with theHusky 31997 800LB Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control for use with our 27' Coachmen trailer. With both sway bars, the trailer was manageable on the highway with 40mph cross-winds and served well at 45mph on the Mackinaw Bridge! I only give this 4 stars because one of the screw heads broke when torquing to the required level - fortunately I was able to drill it out and replace with one of the spares that came with it (8 screws came with it but only 6 are needed). Otherwise an excellent product, especially for the price!

Works good
The bar works well and not bad to install but the hardware supplied is cheep. I could not reach the required torque on the self taps without them striping.. had to drill through the box frame and install two bolts where the holes were over sized after striping the self taps.. over all good product buts needs better grade of hardware.

Great addition
My wife encouraged me to buy and install this. We already had a right hand sway control kit. Our travel trailer is just over 20 feet long and weighs about 5,000 pounds dry so according to specs, a second sway control shouldn't be necessary. BUT... whether is it my driving or the pick-up we have (the 2017 RAM 1500 is known for a soft rear suspension... very smooth, quiet and car-like when not loaded), the extra sway control was a fantastic addition. The trailer only moves under the strongest of winds now. We are very pleased with the results of having sway control kits on BOTH sides!

Safer to tow
Works well for me used two weekends now pulling my trailer. Much safer for highway trucks passing now!

Works Great
Adding the left hand sway control is well worth it to reduce trailer sway.

Two sway bars are better than one.
The unit was easy to install with the aid of a transfer punch as instructed. Make sure you center punch the holes before drilling. I purchased this left hand unit to augment the right hand unit already installed on my trailer. The additional sway bar made a difference in reducing sway.
