Just what I needed

When I went looking for a laundry bag, what I wanted was just a mesh bag that I could throw my sorted clothes into and carry to and from the laundry machine. I have had many over the years, and eventually they get worn out or gross or just fall apart. I do kinda use them as default hampers to throw dirty clothes into after I've worn them. I don't really do extensive sorting, I pretty much have t-shirts, dress shirts and slacks, bedding/towels, and then everything else. So I need 4 bags. This one is perfect. I actually like the bright green color because it stands out, which helps me keep my stuff separated. I also have roommates, and it's a distinct enough color that if one of them decided to try to commandeer it, I'd be able to call them out and get it back. It's not heavy duty by any means, but it seems sturdy and well-constructed; at least enough to last me a while for my uses. It's large too, so I can fit a load of towels, sheets, pillowcases, and blankets; basically exactly how much my washer can fit. If you're looking for something that you can wash with items in it, I can't speak to that, as it's not what I use it for. If you're looking for a laundry bag for short term transport of laundry, I'd definitely recommend this. It would also work well to line a more rigid laundry hamper.

Sturdy Laundry Bag that can Hold a Large Amount of Clothes

This bag's best feature is how sturdy it is. I often fill it to capacity with a rough estimate of 20 lbs. of clothes and one of the bags that I bought about 4 years ago or more is STILL in perfectly good shape. I still use it. Keep in mind I always wash and dry this bag with my laundry and yet that hasn't affected the durability of my bag. I have purchased an additional 2 more of these bags as back-ups in case the original one finally gives out or if the company goes out of business.

It does the job

This item functions just as it's supposed to - as a mesh drawstring laundry bag. It is washable, although I have not washed it yet. It doesn't seem to hang on to odors from dirty clothing. The bag seems to be well put together - there are no loose strings and the bag has yes to rip or tear. The size struck me as a bit odd - it's quite deep and skinny - not as the picture appears. Definitely different from other laundry bags I have used. The green color was also significantly different than my computer display. It appeared more of a lime green and arrived as more of a kelly green. Again, it's a mesh laundry bag so this wasn't a deal breaker. I was simply aesthetically disappointed. Overall, if you need a laundry bag, this should do the job.

Please read, you'll understand why this is the best.

Allow me to set the backround. I'm stationed in Afghanistan where the only means of washing laundry is through a contract run by TCNs (Third Country Nationals: Turkish, Indian and all kinds of Eastern Europeans) Well, these TCNs like to abuse our laundry bags which in turn forces us to buy new ones from the PX or Shoppettes. These bags are poor and the draw strings rip/break after only a few uses. Anyways, the drawstring on these bags (I have 3 in rotation) have held up remarkably well. Where every other laundry bag I've owned had torn to pieces, this one has stood the test of time. Most importantly though, have held their own against any and all abuse given by the TCNs that return them. They don't simply tie your bag and that's that. No, they find newer and creative ways of tying your bag and twisting it into such a knot that I won't bring it bag again. But it hasn't broken my string and the mesh itself has held wonderfully. I hope my testimony has swayed you to buy this product. It really is the best out there!

Excellent value for money.

I have been using one of these steadily for ten years at home and for extended travel, and it is still functional though getting a little worn. Highly recommended, and I rarely bother to write reviews.

Great for what we needed

It's a bold lime green bag that we used for dirty clothes. Its held together nicely, no rips or tears. I wish the draw sting would be a bit sturdier, but it works.

Replaced The One That Got Stolen

I had bought the product 1-2 months earlier. Unfortunately, before I got to use it except for holding my dirty laundry I broke my left shoulder. When a neighbor offered to do it for me I had no idea what would result until a woman friend of his returned my clean clothes in as trash bag saying my brand new laundry bag had gotten stolen. I really liked the bright color, size and light weight and so ordered another. It is well made and easy to carry. It is certainly large enough for a good deal of clothes and the stuff needed to clean them, at a very reasonable price.
