Just as Crappy as the Original
Used this to replace the vacuum breaker assembly on the Chinese frost-free unit that was installed on my house. The original broke and spewed water into my crawlspace for an unknown amount of hours. This new one seems to be of comparable construction as the original piece of trash. I expect it to fail in the same grandiose fashion at some point, but for now, it has solved the problem of introducing water into the substructure of my house, and providing a wonderful environment for subterranean termites to live in lavish comfort. It seems like all manufacturing has gone down the drain (pun intended.) Even the US-made units are constructed with similar injection-molded components like this that are destined for failure. We've become a worldwide society of waste generators, at our own expense, and the expense of future generations. Designed-to-fail components like this turn OUR HOUSES into items that will inevitably crumble, and cannot be passed on for future enjoyment by the people who come after us. Reading back over this review, it seems a bit dramatic for a faucet component. I have deeper-reaching concerns about the trajectory of our population. The part works; it fit and it stopped a catastrophic leak for now.

Fit a mystery spout marked JI
I had a leaking vacuum break on my silcock and feared I would have to tear out drywall to replace the entire unit. But before I went to extremes I tried this out and to my delight it fit and the silcock no longer needs replacement. Overall not sold on the plastic external body but who cares it is something easy to fix and is fairly low cost.

Not a direct replacement for my A.S.S.E. 1019-A
The threads are incompatible with my A.S.S.E. 1019-A. However, I was able to use the outer O ring and inner washer to rebuild my existing metal cap and accomplish the repair. Leaky cap problem solved!

Replacement
Was concerned as to whether this product would fit properly as there was no description saying what brand faucets it was for. It did fit and was very easy to install. No more drip and I didn't have to call a plumber to come take care of it. Worth a try.

Better make sure or hope the threading is the same
This product is rendered useless if the thread pattern that it comes with is not the same as what you were replacing, to match your spigot. Being that it does not match mine, I can’t use it. If it was the same though, I’m sure it would work just fine. The intent here is to make it clear that this is not a universal fit

They come in all different sizes and thread patterns.
It didn't fit my moen though I thought it would. The rubber gasket bit did fit my old one, so I was good to go.

Wrong threads, but still fixed two broken taps! ...
Wrong threads, but still fixed two broken taps! I bought this knowing it may not be the correct threads per other reviews. But the internal plastic part was an exact match to one of my broken taps, and the plastic ring fixed a second leaky taps. So this non-fitting part somehow fixed two of my taps! Ordering another to have for backup parts down the road.
