L'installazione semplice e facile richiede solo pochi minuti.

Hoping it’s as good as the reviews say
It’s only been a month, but so far no issues.

Works well, just a little awkward and ugly
First of all, let me say that I have run the gamut with faucet-mounted water filters. It had become a real challenge in my home to find one that actually works and survives with our unusually high water pressure. I first went through two of the Pur units, both of which broke, then I tried the Dupont unit and it worked, but the filters would not last more than a week or so (verified through four different filters). I didn't even bother with the Brita faucet unit because the reviews are so bad. Since I live in a rental townhouse, I did not want to invest the money in a more permanent under-cabinet system, but I was almost ready to do just that when I stumbled on to this thing. What this company has done is taken an industrial idea and implemented it into a very functional consumer product. This type of filter housing is the very same thing I see on industrial machines all the time, used for machines which require filtered water to run. They simply added the faucet attachment and drinking water spout to an industrial water filter housing. It is a simple and brilliant idea and it works well. I will highlight the good and bad below: THE BAD First things first, it is an eyesore. It is a huge white monstrosity that must sit rather close to your sink. I was much more concerned with functionality than aesthetics, so this is not a huge deal for me. If that is a problem for you, though, consider getting a couple of tubing quick-connect splice connections from your local hardware store and you can then add in some additional 1/4" tubing to move it further away from the sink. Just keep in mind that you have to be able to reach both the faucet and the filter unit at the same time. No on/off valve actually on the filter unit. This means that water will start flowing from the spout as soon as you pull the switch on the faucet adapter. So, you are left with two choices. Either you try to pull the switch with one hand while holding your cup under the spout with the other hand, or you use two hands to steady the faucet and pull the switch, then put your glass under the spout after it is already switched over and running. That second option is a waste of water, but it seems to be the easiest way to do it. It would have been nice if they put a valve actually on the unit so you could control when the water comes out. THE GOOD It clears up room in the sink! This was an advantage I did not foresee originally, but the other faucet mount systems invariably end up getting in the way of the usable sink space and are also difficult to use if you have any dirty dishes in the sink. This unit solves both of those problems. Because it is only attached to the faucet by a 1/4" hose, you can move it around to any position you want, so long as it is within the hose's range. The spout can also tilt and swivel. This unit has never gotten in the way of the sink's usable space and it has never been difficult to get a glass of filtered water, even with a sink full of dishes! Water tastes good. I know there are some folks on here complaining that this unit does not remove enough fluoride from the water. OK, I suppose that is a valid concern. In my case, I just wanted a home solution to get decent tasting water from my sink. The water that comes out of this unit tastes just as good as anything that might come in a plastic bottle, and I have a virtually endless supply of drinkable water without the plastic bottles. This is a win-win as far as I am concerned. If I ever get to a point of being more concerned about specific chemicals that I cannot taste, I suppose it will be time to just put the money into a real reverse-osmosis system. Great flow! As I mentioned before, I have exceptional water pressure in my home. When I first had the water turned on here, a weekend tech from the local water district came out to do it, and I think he may have opened up the valve to our place too far! I love the high water pressure, but I think that may be the thing that was killing our other tap-mount filters. This unit can handle the high water pressure with no problem, and it doesn't even seem to slow down the flow much. I can fill up a 12-cup coffee put in just a few seconds. Overall I am very happy with this system. If it had an on/off valve actually on the filter housing I would give it five stars.

I love it except for one thing
This is just what I was looking for to replace my Brita pitcher. I wanted a more robust water filter that removed fluoride. For the price point, this was the best option. I like how it sits on the counter and it's REALLY EASY to fill up your glass with filtered water. All you do is pull the little pin on the faucet and your filtered water comes streaming out of the little spout like a second faucet. It's at a great angle so you can fill up pots for cooking, water bottles, small glasses, etc. It's always right there on tap! No more filling up pitchers and waiting. It only works with cold water but that's the case for all water filters I think. It doesn't take up too much space on the counter as it's vertical so has a small footprint for its size. It was super easy to assemble, I think it took all of 5 minutes! I haven't replaced the filter yet but I have been using this for 3 months. I had to remove a star because the little pin that you pull to engage the filter came off and every time I tried to screw it back on, it would just turn like it was stripped. Seemed kind of cheaply made for something that you are pulling on several times a day. My solution was to superglue it! Now it works great and doesn't fall off every time. A DIY fix to something super aggravating. I like that it's robust but portable for apartment dwellers. The water comes out with enough force, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this filter is. I don't notice too much difference in taste from Brita water, so hopefully it's living up to its claims for filtering out fluroride, etc. Recommended! Bonus: the company sent me a free, unexpected water bottle in a separate package in addition to my order.

Wonderful Filter for awefull water
This is an absolutely wonderful filter for your tapwater. I was on well water for 25 years and moved to an area that had treated water that tasted like doo doo. This filter makes it so I can actually drink the water without being sick. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 star is that I had to do an exchange because the first one leaked. I had read other reviews about the issue and decided to take a chance. My first one was black and fit perfectly on the counter next to the sink, but I had to keep a towel under it for a small drip when it was being used. Within a week the drip became a stream and when I went to look at it the long metal nozzle that the water comes out of came off in my hand. It appeared to have been soldered or welded to another internal piece and it didn't hold. I did the request for a replacement and I got it within a couple of days. This one was white instead of the black one I wanted, but it worked. this one has no leak to it at all and has been great for all my needs. It works much better than the other one and the water even tastes better. This is an awesome filter and I would highly recommend it. Just be aware that there may be a flawed one occasionally and you may need to request a replacement before you get one that is perfect for you. Maybe they will get their production of that particular weld fixed in the future. It's such a silly and small thing. I can see how it would potentially be difficult to get that weld right. Don't skip this one because of the issue in some of them. Just request the replacement and you will be as happy as I am. I love this filter.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK
Do not buy this system if you live in the UK. You can not buy replacement cartridges anywhere. It’s a waste of money unless paying huge shipping costs from USA. VERY VERY Disapointing

No Muss No Fuss just great water
The Home Master Filtration system is ideal for people who do not want to go to the expense or trouble of installing a plumbed-in water filtration system under their sink. This installation is super easy and works immediately. The filtration is superior to the filtration jugs (think Brita) and the water taste is neutral. We had really bad water before they replaced the pipes in my building, and then after, the chlorination, etc. was still there. This Home Master system removed all odor and impurities and now I actually want to drink my tap water, after spending $$$ buying bottled water - which was bad for the environment.

Great Price for a Decent Water Filter
I bought this countertop water filter because the small town I live in heavily chlorinates the water..I hate the taste but couldn't justify spending a bunch money on bottled water..I've been using a water filter pitcher for a few years but the filters are so damn expensive and only last 1-2 months before needing to be changed..The filter that came with this system claims to last a year or 2500 gallons before needing to be changed which make the filtered water much cheaper than bottled..Only problem is I haven't been able to find the same replacement filter for sale anywhere...Luckily this thing takes common 10 inch filters that are available almost anywhere for a reasonable price so I'm sure I can find a decent filter for it when time comes to replace the one that came with it.

This thing is great! The water tastes great and the fact that ...
This thing is great! The water tastes great and the fact that it removes most of the fluoride from the water is the main reason I bought it. Our municipality is still trying to promote the "benefits" of adding fluoride to the water, so I wanted to be prepared just in case they add it back again. The water filter was very easy to install also and it does not really take up too much space around the sink.

Great countertop filter
Our old jug style filter was not filtering out the chlorine smell and taste in our city drinking water. This new countertop filter does the trick. It was easy to install and it doesn't take up much room on the counter. We love it! The way it operates by taking water directly from the tap, makes it so easy to use filtered water not just for drinking, but also for filling the kettle, cooking and washing vegetables etc. Great product!
