Attractive
Wonderful product, well designed

Nice but not perfect.
For the price it isn’t bad, however it’s nearly impossible to get a super snug installation where it doesn’t move. It had to be slightly modified to make it more stable.

Works great but very big
It's a great buy for the money, and it's super simple, with no built-in motion or dusk to dawn stuff. I wanted this type of simple light with GFCI outlets, and this was probably the best bang for the buck. Some things to note: the light is big and heavy-ish and sticks far out from the wall. This goes for most GFCI outlet containing lights, as the GFCI guts add considerable depth to the mounting base. Check that any doors that swing out won't be banging on this thing, as this happened with my front security door after I installed the light. Ooops. Second, the mounting is super simple but you have to tighten the horizontal mount piece in a perfectly level position before you attach the light, you can't adjust it after the light is attached to the brackets. A slightly better design would allow tightening and adjusting after the light is stuck on the wall. Third, although this thing is supposed to be water resistant (nothing is really water-proof), there isn't any type of gasket or seal that goes around the base to keep water out, and on a stucco wall, again like mine, there is plenty of room for water to get between the base and the wall. The GFCI has exposed internal screws to attach additional wires to, and these could easily short out if drenched with water, so I'm not sure how it is rated water resistant. Pro tip: what I ended up doing is getting water-safe wire nuts from Home Depot (they are used mainly for outdoor irrigation systems) to use on the electrical connections instead of the supplied ones, and I wrapped self-fusing water resistant electrical tape around the entire outside of the GFCI's exposed terminal screws - you'll have to remove the GFCI first to easily do this. This improves the weather resistance quite a bit (if it's ever needed) and this method doesn't need a gasket, which would be ideal but could also cause problems by trapping water inside of the mounting base. The seeded glass is nice but I'd prefer just pure clear glass. Finally, the bottom is completely open. This makes it easier for bugs and dirt to get in, but conversely, makes it easier to clean out.

Good light, love the outlet, mounting could be better
I bought two of these for my front and back covered porches. The lights themselves are quite nice, not too heavy, good size, and I like that they stick out farther from the siding (for better light) than the ones I had (jelly-jar lamps). I also love the convenience of an outlet available on-demand, as the front porch does not have an easily accessible outlet. Now, what I don't like... The mounting "center" is too high on the lamp, so if you are mounting like I did on a 7" square siding block, the light sits well below the center-point of the block (near flush with the bottom, while exposing 2+" at the top. While not a huge issue, it does make the lamp look unprofessional, being not centered vertically, AND it leaves a tiny open at the bottom area where some insect or spider can nest behind the lamp. I fixed this by purchasing a 10" decorative "cover-plate" and installed it (centered) behind the lantern. I don't think it actually helps the aesthetics, but it is better than it was... Another pet peeve is the two mounting screws that attach the lantern to the electrical box bracket.... They have a nut which is supposed to keep them from extending/retracting as you tighten the acorn nuts to secure the lantern, but they are useless at preventing the bolt from moving. I fixed this issue by finding the correct length bolt, screwing it fully into the mounting bracket (using blue loc-tite for added security), and then attaching the lantern to the replacement bolts. The outlet and cover are good, and should work well to prevent rain from entering (when closed). Just remember to press the "reset" button before first use after installing, or the entire lantern will not function. If you are planning to use a dusk-to-dawn lamp or smart-bulb to control on/off, you also have to remember to leave the light switch ON 24x7. I'm using mine with RGB smart-bulbs to control lighting color/brightness/on/off by settings or other programming, like when the driveway sensor is triggered...etc. So far, no issues with daily use because they are both under porches to shield from weather.

Great light and plug
Looks great and having a plug built in makes it so much easier for Xmas lights or anything else you want to plug in. The only thing is the plug will only be on when the light switch is turned on.

Well made but not secure to wall
This is a well made lamp, the plug idea is super practical. Everything works well, yes the switch has to be on for the plug to « open ». When installed however the lamp is affixed to the wall only by two small screws in the top bracket. This result is the lamp is liable to move around on the wall, which could be especially of a concern if you’re plugging or unplugging an appliance. We added a strip of silicone to the bottom against the wall and hope for the best. Very attractive lamp.

Nice looking light at a reasonable price. Easy way to add some outside outlets.
I added a wireless socket/switch so I could hard wire the light/plugs on and still control the light.

Looks good, outlets work perfectly!
Great product. Easy to installed, I am not a professional by any means. I use the outlet to power the lights in the gazebo! Love it and would recommend this product.
