Excellent front sight for G34

Love this sight. It’s very bright and stands out nicely with either the red or green light pipes. More importantly; it is the right height to regulate the modern G34 sights to 25 yards. Now both my G34’s wear this front sight. With the factory rear sight and this front sight I have an excellent sight contrast for aiming. I plan on buying other Hi Viz sights for my other pistols. Excellent products.

NOT THE SAME AS PICTURED OR DESCRIBED

The image used by amazon does not match what I received. It does match the one shown on the HIVIZ web site. Both are labeled GL2011. There is not a great deal of difference between them, so it's not a big thing, but makes one wonder what's up. The one I received has an extra metal ring around the center of the "LitePipe" and may be a teensy bit longer toward the rear of the slide. Again no biggy. What does have me a bit torked is that while the amazon description mentions a total of 6 litepipes, I only received 3. (This matches what is advertised on the HIVIZ site). What's worse, is that one of the "pipes" which are assumed to be fiber optic material, is a piece of opaque white plastic! Nice bright white dot, but no "light piping" that I can detect. The more carefully I read on both the amazon site and on HIVIZ's own site, the more I question if this is in fact fiber optic. I know I was not very impressed with its brightness today at a slightly dimly lit gun range.

Better than stock, but a couple issues

It’s definitely more visible than the stock front sight. This sight has very crisp edges and a nice, bright optic rod to make acquisition easy. However, it doesn’t fit snugly in the notch. Even with threadlocker, it has come a bit loose after a good bit of shooting and tends to wiggle a bit. It also doesn’t match with the rear notch on the factory rear sight well. Added to the wiggle noted above and the POI changes every shot. Once you think you have it figured out, it shifts a tiny bit and you miss your next shot.

Only 3 light pipes are included and no carrying case

I really like hiviz but wish I wouldn’t have bought it this way. I only received half the light pipes and no carrying case at all. I was deceived as description clearly says six light pipes and a carrying case. You can see by my pic that, that was false. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Would return but what i did receive was fine. And i unfortunately cant wait for a return process…

It's nice to have choices.

I put this on my Glock 41, but when I compared it to my G21SF, G30S, and G20 sites, it looks like it will work on all of them. I put a little bit of blue locktite on the screw to keep it from backing out from repeated firing. I like that it comes with different colored inserts, and a changing tool that pushes down on the locking tab, so you can use whatever is easier for you to see in low-light conditions. I would definitely recommend getting the sight removal nut driver to change these out on the slide since there isn't really an alternative. Since getting the first one, I've ordered a couple more for my concealed carry Glocks.

What a great deal, $25 bucks for a fiber optic front sight. Be-aware this is a "tall" sight designed to be used with a Glock 34, 17L, 35, 41, and etc... or aftermarket rear sight. I paired mine with a Heinie "SlantPro" black out rear. Better price and extra multi color fiber tubes compared to the other name brands. Totally worth the small investment and I am shooting must faster and more accurate thanks to this sight. use lock-tite during install Action shoots attached with it temporally on my g17 (too tall with blacked out stock rear) until I got my g34 back)

Awesome fiber optic sight with excellent price!!

Got my replacement hiviz fiber optic sights. I have hiviz on all my glock pistols. Hiviz provides optimal and easy sight picture acquisition with bright fiber optics and they are interchangeable with 3 colors you can choose from between red,green, and white. I have used other fiber optic front sights from competition brands, but hiviz works for me best. Dont take my word for it, as an avid competitive shooter, try what's best and works for you. I have, and found that hiviz suits my needs. For me,its a 5/5 stars.????????????
