Good for destroying floppy disks, CDs, and zip drives
Good for destroying old floppy disks, CDs, and zip drives. It cannot destroy hard drives. When destroying CDs wear eye protection, they shatter with flying sharp pieces.

Good press.
So far, a good press for the price.

Very nice Press
This is a very nice press and overall I’m pleased with the purchase. The only con is that the set screw on the retainer ring that holds the shaft in the body is so far out that it barely hits the shaft. I had to cut some of the material off the retainer so that the set screw was in a better place. Other than this it’s great.

Baffling Instructions
Hahaha, bought this little Arbor Press for some hobby and craft work. Seems to be a great little press. I would give it 5 stars but I got to tell you the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. This is an Arbor Press, very few moving parts, a handle, a gear, a ram and a body.... That's pretty much it. Page 1 of the instructions depicts the press along with text stating Arbor Press and Assembly and Operating Instructions. Page 2 is a Safety and Warning page with only a partial text. Most of the left text is missing. Page 3, now we get to the funny part. Page 3 starts with item # 9. There are no items 1 - 8 btw. Item # 9, Do Not abuse the power cord. Do not yank it to disconnect it from the receptacle. Do not carry tools by the cord. HELLO, this is an arbor press, there is no electrical cord.. Someone, I'm guessing not in this country has no idea what they are doing or copying... BTW, there are no instructions for how to operate the arbor press in the instruction manual. It's pretty easy to figure out thank god.

Awesome little Arbor Press!
Got to use it the day I received it, and it is perfect. The small footprint is perfect for my Leatherwork station, taking very little place but doing an awesome job for setting rivets, grommets, snaps, or even punching holes. I've also used this to press a fitted bearing, and it worked like a charm. And at around 60-65$ for an arbor press, you can't go wrong. The construction of this unit is on par with other models much bigger and way more expensive. It is a simple design, with very little internals, thus limiting the risk of breaking parts. All parts are forged/machined and tight tolerances keep parts operating smoothly. A little oil then and again, and it can be easily taken apart to clean internal parts and re-lubricate. When you receive the press, you will need to clean the grease on the outside of the unit, to keep it from rusting in transit. The base has holes in it to bolt down to a workbench if needed. It weighs around 20-22 lbs. and has a press clearance area of just over 3 1/2" with the rotating plate, and if you remove the plate you get 4 1/2" clearance to press. All things said, this is a perfect unit for small projects needing press work, takes up very little room, and with the 1/2 ton press capability well worth the purchase.

Super Heavy
Very heavy, very (seemingly) strong. Nice design. A little rough around the edges, but its a heavy duty arbor press. Came in a crate and was delivered to the floor and I underestimated the weight when going to lift it and was quite surprised. This would be great for certain purposes. Unfortunately I didn't read to carefully and was looking for something slightly less heavy duty than this. But, still handy to have and great price.

It's good if it works for you
I bought it ..used it once ..and .ikely won't use it again ..not because the product is faulty but I can do the same thing with hydraulic press ..I should return it ..but the product is what it's advertised to be ..and really I should have thought this through ..better
