Perfect Rolling pin for small items!
Bought this rolling pin to make flatbreads, it's perfect! Small size allows you to work with small amounts of dough easily. Item is exactly as described, and easy to clean. It arrived ahead of schedule. This item is a must have for anyone who works with doughs of all kinds!

Very Handy
Works great for small sized dough that needs to be on the thin side… much more control. Gyoza, tortillas, etc. The palm of your hands will get a workout!

Perfect Size
After returning a larger size of this item, I got this smaller one and it is the perfect size for what I need. I am very happy with everything about it.

great potsticker press
I enjoy dim sum and we live in an area where it is not really available. So we tackle dumplings every once and a while. This press has simplified the process of making pot stickers quite a bit. I can make an entire package of dumpling skins into pot stickers in less than 1/2 hour. No that doesn't cover making the filling itself, but overall in an hour we can be eating lovely dumplings and I am not going crazy with wetting and folding the dumpling skins and having them unfold or tear. This press holds a slightly less than a teaspoon of filling and a round dumpling skin and just a quick press and onto the next one. I do use a fingertip of water on the edge on one side. I like the little handles. I spray mine with a touch of Pam at the beginning and it works for the whole batch. It is still a messy process so I make mine over a sheet pan and keep the mess more contained. This is a great inexpensive easy to use product and definitely a great idea. Recently we bought some larger potsticker skins from a San Francisco market which were a bit larger and thicker. They held almost 2 teaspoons of filling and it was a much faster and easier process to make dinner. Mostly we use the supermarket variety which are round and about 1/2" smaller than the inside of the press which is why those dumplings are so small. The press is still one of my favorite dedicated kitchen tools.

Cute Rolling Pin/Works Well for what I needed
This rolling pin fits well inside my cookie sheet so I can roll my dough out for my dog's homemade treats right on the cookie sheet. Worked well and received in great condition.

The well isn't deep enough
Though I am pleased with the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship of this item, particularly at this price point, I have a major complaint with the design of this product. That is, the well isn't deep enough. The part of the press that is deepest, to allow for filling, is a circle in the middle of the press (as it should be), measuring only 3cm in diameter. This circle lies only 7mm (in height) from the edges of the press. There simply isn't enough room for filling. Even for small dumplings, which don't require much, this press doesn't hold enough to make a palatable dumpling that isn't made up almost entirely of dough (or wrapper, if that's what's used). As far as the difficulty in finding appropriately-sized wrappers to fit this press that has been expressed by some here, I have a simple solution. I used the bottom of the press to score my rolled-out dough, then cut circles perfectly sized to fit this press. I'm sure this method could be employed to trim pre-cut wrappers, too. But this raises the question, if one has to employ my method, is the product truly simplifying the dumpling-making process? I don't like this product, because the dumplings that can be produced through its use have an oddly small ratio of filling to wrapper/dough. I do think that the item appears to be well-made of decent materials and thus should be durable. While I can see the attraction of a press like this which promises to save time and simplify the process of pressing dumplings, I didn't find that it made the process any easier than by hand. To me, the craftsmanship and durability are trumped by the poor design and lack of ability of the product to simplify the process for which it was designed.

WORKS
Was skeptical, but wow, it works. Love dumplings, love to make em, am horrible at forming them. This is a total breeze. Fits the wrappers perfectly, seals tight, and allowed me to make perfect shape in about 5% of the time I would have used without. And no frustration.

It's....meh
It's....meh. it does what it's supposed to do, I guess. Honestly, learn to fold dumplings by hand. It's faster and easier.

Easier by hand…
I find it much easier to make dumplings by hand. I gave this a try but the problem was I could get so little filling in the dumpling press in order for it to work. If I’m going to all the preparations and making the dough, I want some filling in them! Also the press didn’t seal the dumpling well. I guess it takes the fun out of it too. I make mine by hand with love.
