The pump has all metal connections. This makes is it less likely to snap off.

Short spout may cause drips on countertop

The quality of the product is good. Our problem was with the short length of the spout. The centerline of the hole in our kitchen countertop is 2.5" from the edge of the sink cutout which I believe is an industry standard. The spout does is extend beyond the edge of the cutout which results in a drip of soap on the countertop after dispensing. This may be a compromise in design since it's described as a both Kitchen and Bathroom soap dispenser. Nevertheless it's very annoying to have to wipe the soap drip off the countertop after every use... Had I not already installed it and thrown away the packaging I would return it.

Broke after 1 year

I bought two and one broke after just one year. The plastic bottle broke off. The other one has been coming apart a few times but still functions for now.

This dispenser was purchased to replace my horrible old soap dispenser

This dispenser was purchased to replace my horrible old soap dispenser. Being a 75 year old lady who lives alone I decided to tackle the exchange. To do this project I had to lay on my back and wedge my head under and behind the garbage disposal, focus a small flashlight upward and reach up with a screwdriver to remove the old one. It took some doing but I did it. To attach the new one I placed a heavy object on the dispenser from above to keep it from moving while I reached up from below to screw on the plastic bottle. This went smoothly as I had gained dexterity removing the crappy old one. One word of caution...keep a cell phone handy when doing a project like this. I can just imagine the news article about finding the body of a woman whose head is stuck behind her garbage disposal. My efforts were worth it. The unit fills from above and does not need priming with each use. Great purchase.

Perfect fit and finish.

Delivered quickly and was very well priced compared to other vendors. It is a direct replacement for the same model installed a few years back. It fit perfectly. This model also has a very large bottle so it requires fewer refills. Handy if it is hard to reach under your sink.

Finish matches the Faucet on our Kitchen Sink

Hole was already in the sink. With the Hansgrohe faucet/sprayer combination it was the opportune time to install a soap dispenser. Many available on the market. This one matches the satin finish of the faucet. It installed in less than five minutes. The plastic bottle holds about half a bottle of liquid soap. You have to be careful not to allow the soap level get too high. I did. Cleaned up the spillover soap and tested the pump. It works fine. Pricing was fair. Unit quality is high. Good value.

Designed for easy installation

This Hansgrohe soap dispenser was very easy to install in an aggregate stone countertop, and it will be very easy to remove should I need to do that eventually. First, I had to remove another soap dispenser whose pump had broken, and it was only then that I discovered that the assembly and design of the Hansgrohe was infinitely superior to that of the one I was replacing, which had a brass nut that wouldn't budge. -- I had to hack the old assembly apart with a handsaw. There's no metal nut on this dispenser assembly, just a plastic ring that's easy to grab and tighten. I expect that it will be just as easy to grab and loosen if and when the time comes to replace this dispenser. My only complaint: it's a lot more expensive to buy this product on Amazon Canada than it is on Amazon US, taking into account the exchange rate.

Broke in less than one year

I purchased this soap dispenser last April and had it installed in my new condo - it matches the Hansgrohe faucet that the builder installed. As of yesterday, the storage bottle separated below the threading and fell on the floor inside my cupboard. Hoping that the seller will replace this product and send me a new soap dispenser.
