Good sweat and sun protection
I sweat a lot when I exercise. For a while I've been using head bands to help keep the sweat out of my eyes. Recently I tried one of the Halo bands while cycling and it performed beyond expectations. After using a different hat for running for a while I found out that Halo made a hat and I bought this one. It does what it is supposed to but there are a few oddities. The design of the hat is different than any other that I've seen. The band and rubber strip that is the Halo signature is not fully attached. It is attached at the temples but free-floating over the forehead. I'm not really sure why this design was chosen. Because of this you can't just pull the hat on. Instead you need to set the Halo band where you want it then fit the rest of the hat on your head. Comfort-wise, by design it is a bit snug. The rubber strip doesn't move at all on your forehead. On longer runs this can get to be a little uncomfortable and you will definitely have a horizontal stripe on your forehead when you're done. The sizing is done by a velcro strip in the back. This works better than clasp or buckle styles I've used in other hats. The hat does a good job of keeping sun and sweat out of my eyes. That was my primary concern. Whether by design or not I'm not sure, but it seems that it redirects the sweat into the bill of the hat. This becomes visible after a while. I think I would prefer it to drip down the back than go to the bill. While I haven't taken it out on any really hot days, my head seems to stay cool enough. The color is great and matches most of my other running gear. All in all, if you need a hat that will keep the sweat and sun out of your eyes, this one will do it.

This hat will not fly off your head!
This hat is amazing! I use this hat primarily for running. I needed a hat that would not fly off my head on windy days and this hat has not failed me so far. I even tried it during a race where the course involved running up a lot of hills on bridges. The wind was quite strong at the top of those hills but this hat did not budge. I've tried other hat brands like Under Armour and Kuhl, but this is the first hat I've had stay on my head in windy conditions. The pro's: 1. This hat will not fly off your head 2. The sweatband does its job as well, no sweat will drip into your eyes on hot days 3. If you have a small head, you can adjust this hat to be pretty small The con's: 1. You have to put this hat on, sweatband side first. It can take some getting used to but is worth it 2. This hat leaves a line on my forehead from the sweatband part of the hat. It looks a little funny, but oh well. I also tightened it a bit too much one day and gave myself a headache, so be careful about that! 3. The blue color shown in the item description is almost a fluorescent blue, where the blue hat is more of a true blue color. This isn't really a con, just be aware. The color of this hat is more of a true blue color, than the almost fluorescent blue shown in the item description.

Superb sweat management and cooling hat of top quality!
The BEST sweat management hat ever made! I have tried a LOT of different hats for controlling sweat while running, working, or hiking. the rubber sweat band really works. And unlike some hats that you have to pull way down to get the sweat band low enough to protect your eyes, the Halo sweatband is hinged so you can have it lower or higher than the bill. The Halo Sport Hat also looks good and is very light weight. I like having the velcro strap for adjusting the width without a strap hanging loose. The bill is just long enough to provide effective shade for the eyes but not so long it catches in the wind or gets in the way while working. Also, the underside of the bill is black to reduce sun glare, unlike so many similar hats that are the same color on top and bottom of the bill. I sweat heavily and this hat soaks it up and actually feels cooler than no hat at all. I like it for running, biking, working in the yard, hiking, working in a warehouse, or just a day on the beach. Really, this is the perfect hat if you sweat so much that it runs into your eyes, or you need to pour water over your head for cooling. "Water blindness" will never happen with the Halo Sport Hat. The construction is top quality and the price is lower than many competitors of lesser functionality. My ONLY complaint has nothing to do with quality, fit or function: it is lack of some color choices. I would really, really like to be able to get this Halo hat in tan/khaki, and some shade of green from Kelly green to olive drab. I have the grey and navy blue but would much prefer the tan and green colors.

My new favorite hat
I exercise quite a bit and sweat heavily. Always having sweat drip into my eyes and burn. With this companies hats and bandanas, the problem is solved. The sweat wicking strip inside and over the eyes moves the sweat to the side of your face and not in your eyes. brilliant. Thank you! Would love a bigger size hat to fit me XXL head better, but usable.

Don’t last long
I have three of these hats. I sweat a lot playing pickle ball so I change hats after an hour. I have had to replace 2 hats in six months because the water barrier came off. Great hats but not durable.

The sweat bar Inside comes out
Only problem with this hat is the sweat band part is only sewed to the hat on the sides so it is loose and slips out of the hat when I was using it. It stays attached because it still on the side but the front part where your forehead is it’s not secure to the hat. I have two halo sweat bands that I love.

Great Use of Halo Sweatband
I recently used this whilst abroad and it did what it said on the tin. My only observation is that I am used to hats that are bigger and initially felt it was small on the head. Used to it now. No more sweat in the eyes on holidays!

I am pleased.
I have Hyper Hydrosis and this hate is awesome. Good quality build works very well, washes well, does a better job keeping sweat out of my eyes and costs similar to or less than say an UnderArmour hat which seems to be made of the same material but does not have the dedicated sweatband portion.

Great fitting with a sweat band built right in. The brim could be a bit bigger but it is a running hat so small is okay too.
