Poorly designed
They strip okay, when they do work. One side of the jaws is "adjustable", however the small spring wire does not hold it in place. If you tighten the hinge screw enough to hold the jaws from moving, you can't easily open/close the strippers. I wouldn't buy again.

Terrible design
If your looking for a small guage wire stripper looks for a different product. The one Jaw moves to "adjust" to the gauge wire your trying to strip is a joke. Out of the box it wouldn't even just the insulation. Tried all the way in where the actual wire cutting section is and no dice. With no adjustments available and it being 100% useless as is I attempted to tighten to center screw that the spring is attached to for the adjusting jaw. Tried various tightened and loosened positions and it's either all wire cutters then or insulation mauler. Even on a 22 awg wire I was able to get it to strip some insulation but it still Knicks the wire.

Good for thermocouple, RTD, thermistor and load cell wires.
I've only used one setting so far but it's great for load cells and TC/ RTD wires. strips cleanly

These wire strippers lasted for about 4 months of very light and infrequent use then the spring wires came undone rendering it completely useless. I should have hired an actual stripper to bite the ends off my wires for me. Might've been more cost-effective.

Best of the strippers!
This is a great tool for stripping small gauge wire. I wish that I had this in my tool kit years ago. This is a must for anyone working on electrical projects.

I use this mostly for 30 ga wire - works great. Don't frustrate yourself with cheaper models.

These strippers work exactly like I had hoped they would!
I needed these for stripping the 32 AWG wires found inside HDMI (and other data) cables for prototyping. Most wire strippers are for 30 AWG tops and don't do well with the smaller gauge stranded wires. These strip smoothly and cleanly, and without nicking the wire. I took a chance and bought two without knowing how well they work, and I'm glad I did!
