Worked for what I needed it for

I bought this for my window ac and it worked great. It’s thick but you can cut it to fit your needs. I recommend and would buy again.

Used for winter drafts did the job

Used around window air conditioner for cold breezes. I will be keeping it in year round. I imagine the heat seeps thru in summer

Does it’s job

I have one of those portable AC units and don’t want to nail the A/C vent plate around the window so I purchased the wider size weather strip to plug around the window and pushed down to seal. Works well.

Hydroponic Gro-Sponges People!

I am quite tired of those crumbly, peat-based, fall-apart, organic gro-plugs/sponges that the hydro. Stores sell at ridiculous prices. And if come pre-moistened you don't use them all right away, you might just find them a little moldy the next time you need to use them. That’s why I started searching for a viable alternative. Something that was cheap, that wouldn’t fall apart while using them and that could easily be customized to fit any Hydro, DWC or Aeroponic type of system that I can build. This is an open-celled foam that allows water and nutrients to be absorbed and allows roots to navigate through it and give support to the stems of seedlings and clones, holding the plants upright until they grow out into the surrounding media of your system or they can be used as the only media for supporting your plants. 1.) For seed starting--Just take a sharp serrated knife and slit your already cut-to-size plug down from the top to the desired depth for the type of seeds you are starting. 2.) For clones--Just take a sharp serrated knife and slit your already cut-to-size plug down the side a little past half way through the center of the plug. Then you can open the slit and gently place your clone into the plug without losing most of your rooting hormone. Side by side this foam looks just like the open-celled foam plugs that come with certain “Hydroponics gro-kits” that have I have purchased for ridiculous prices in the past. I hope this review will help others whom are searching for this same solution.

VERY GOOD HIGHER DENSITY POLYURETHANE FOAM FOR WEATHERTIGHT SEAL

Very good poly Foam to fill gap in wall, used here for gap between window panes from installing a window A/C unit which is far superior (denser) Polyurethane foam product than anything shipped with a/c units. One thing of note: IF this or ANY polyurethane foam is going to be exposed to direct sunlight, apply a coat of good acrylic paint, cover with alum foil face duct tape or whatever is appropriate for YOUR application to keep this PU foam from direct UV rays. These PU's have excellent low temp stability and work over fairly WIDE Temperature range; however, direct UV will cause this or ANY Polyurethane Foam to deteriorate (slowly powders after discoloring). This is an OPEN Cell foam which will NOT take submersion in water (the foam will absorb water when submerged) and slowly lose it's properties. You can compress this approximately 50% (or more) which gives leeway in installation; NOTING you should have some compression to keep in place and maintain airtight seal.

Does what its supposed to

used this to plug up some windows and areas around a portable ac hose window seal. does the job. very thick so you might want to cut it up a bit. but its very malleable so i like that a lot. good value for the price. though you may want to get 2 of these as a just in case. they are not as long as you expect them to be.

Great product for ac installation

This is not an adhesive backed product, so if that's what you're looking for, this may not be right for you. I use it to fill the open spaces during both portable and window ac installation. It works well, compresses well, and will definitely fill those larger gaps that the supplied foam usually won't. Plus, if need be, you can always trim some off to fit your particular situation.
