Material is great
These work great for grooming. They know well and stay in a knot.

Works for my purposes - short walks and restrain.
I brought these for three major reasons. The first reason is to take my one dog to the fenced yard. My other dogs learned to run from my back door directly to the yard gate and to wait for me to let them in the fenced yard. The dog I rescued six months (Jake) has not quite mastered this and runs whenever he cans. These leads work well for the ten feet or so I need to walk him to put him in the yard. The second reason is to restrain him whenever someone comes to the door. My other dogs have been trained to run into another room whenever I say "room" and to wait until I close the door to the room. Again Jake has not mastered this task. I leave a lead on the doorknob of my three entry doors and after verify who is at the door and commanding the other dogs to go to their room, I slip the lead over his head and walk (sometimes pull) him to the room. This process works well for both of us and for our visitors. The third reason is that it came in a multi pack and was cheaper than buying them one at a time. The leads themselves seem well made. Both the nylon and metal parts are strong and have worn well. The colors are pretty and bright.

Excellent leashes. Strong but lightweight.
These are very well made leashes at a great price. I carry one on my purse plus one in each of our 3 cars in the event we come across a stray pet. Wish I would have had one of these when I rescued a big yellow lab running alongside our 4 lane parkway. He'd escaped from his home due to thunder scaring him.. He jumped right into my car. ;). I immediately took him to our animal shelter and, because he was wearing his rabies tag, he was reunited with his owner within an hour, before they closed at 5 PM.. HE SHOULD HAVE HAD AN ID TAG ON TOO!! THEN I COULD HAVE CALLED HIS OWNER. IF SHELTER WOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED I'D BE STUCK WITH HIM. OUR TWO DOGS WEAR THEIR COLLARS 24/7. COLLARS (nylon with snap-together clasp) HAVE METAL (bone-shaped, printed at PetsMart, $9) ID TAG WITH MY CELL NBR, DOG'S NAME & HOME PH NBR. (Back of tag states "REWARD!"). Then rabies tag, and HomeAgain microchip tag. All tags are attached on a round metal clasp so they cannot fall off. Better safe than sorry!

Great package = 2 in house 2 in car 2 in truck
I had some other thinner ones that I would give away to others rescuing dogs and I ran out. These I think are better because they are wider and won't dig in dogs necks. These are great and handy. Usually you will have 1 or 2 dogs to rescue at a a time so they great to have on hand in vehicles. Put 2 in car, 2 in truck and 2 leads at home. Karma puts animals in your path for a reason. Also in my neighborhood some peoples dogs get out by mistake or jump a fence. Then you have some people that let their dogs out to roam and some people move and let them go on purpose or some dogs are neglected and don't need to be returned to a bad owner. Just the other week had the neighbors dogs get into my back yard and these would have been handy that's why I searched Amazon and found these. Pretty good deal too for the price.

Convenient and cheap
I bought these as a simple, easy on/off leash to: 1.lead my puppy from his playpen to the fenced in part of my yard 2.gradually introduce him to my toddler without allowing for too much contact these are very convenient, cheap and useful. I have stashed one in each of our cars and have one by the playpen. The pup is pretty comfortable with it and after a couple of days stop trying to bite it! They are a bit too wide for the size of my pup (13lb), they do get grimy very easily and you have to keep twisting them to prevent a twisting mess. But overall I feel that this is a pretty good purchase and would recommend it.

Nice to have at a fair price :-)
Was expecting one and got six. No big deal. Nice to have extras. Keep one in the car. One by each door. I prefer not to collar my dog when inside. These are perfect for taking the dog to or from the car. Would also be great for dogs that are difficult to leash. Only negative is they are a flat nylon. I was hoping for more of a roped nylon style. I think they would be easier to work with and not get twisted up so easily.

Keep one in your car, one in the house or office
This is my second order of these kennel leads. For those of us who try to help stray dogs find their way home again, the kennel lead is so helpful. If the dog doesn't have a collar or I can't quite get close enough to catch the collar, slipping this over the dog's head will give me a way to lead it to safety, to a vet office to check for microchip, or walk around the neighborhood looking for it's home. I keep one in each of our cars all the time and give them away to others who try to help strays. Gentle, effective, handy.

Great in a pinch
I keep these in my car as spares in case my dog's leash breaks, or I find a stray. I've used one for both purposes, actually! Great in a pinch. Edit: I also donated a pair of them to work for when people bring in found dogs and we need to walk them over to the shelter, or if we have to walk the dogs while we wait for their owner to come pick them up. They store nice and compactly in a small plastic clamshell package one of my co-workers found and they're really handy to have! We've used them multiple times.

They work but I don’t trust them to not snap
I’m not sure if they will snap but I don’t fully trust these to be my dogs sole leash, even for a short walk BUT it has also been really helpful so far … so maybe it won’t snap. My dog is an escape artist, so I pair her harness with this and for that purpose, it has been helpful, so still giving 4 stars at approx $8 per leash

Great use in groom shop
I use these for my groom shop. When I go out to get the dog from the client i use this instead of bringing their lead and collar into my shop They wash up nice.

Perfect for dog professionals
Perfect, affordable slip leads for our dog kennel. We always need to have a leash on us while is the daycare, and we love how lightweight these leashes are. These are not intended for daily dog walking - and that's not what they should be used for. They work exactly how they should for what they are made for!
