No more cuts from thorns
I have a meyer lemon with brutal thorns. This winter we had a deep freeze and many branches didn't make it. When trimming the dead branches off these gloves were a life saver. No more bloody arms!

Amazon Basics makes quality products!!
I was very surprised at the quality and workmanship of these gloves, especially given the price point. They are well made and comfortable and seem like that will last for quite a while. I love the length of these and know they will protect my forearms from scratches and scrapes. Just got these so haven't used them much yet but they are by far the nicest gardening gloves I've owned (and I've paid up 2-3 times what I paid for these). Will update my review if my opinion changes but so far I am quite pleased!! Thanks Amazon!

Gift
I gave this as a gift so I don’t have the answers to give for durable, comfort etc. I know from my own experience with using a long glove with the protection they give. The quality of these gloves is excellent! A perfect gift was given thankfully!!

Great Gardening Gloves!
I love the fit and the length of these. I had to pull lemons off my tree and did not get one scrape from the branches, which would usually leave me scratched up. The average size is comfortable and fit my hand perfectly.

Thin Gloves
The gloves are quite thin, especially the palm area(there are no extra paddings). But since i paid only $10 for it on sale, can't complaint much. However, I wouldn't pay $28 full price for it.

Great fit.
The gloves will be perfect for yard work and will protect the upper arms as well.

It's good.
Only wish it would be more durable. I used it a few times for pulling weeds and digging soil and the fingers are already tearing a bit.

Such a good value for great gloves.
I was initially looking for good leather gardening gloves for a lot of landscaping work I have to do around my house. I didn't expect much from these since they were so inexpensive, however since receiving theme, I've been so impressed by the quality and durability of these gloves. Not only are they comfortable, they're standing up to lots of dirt digging, weed, tree, and bush pulling. The elbow length is also very convenient due to the fact that it keeps mosquito and other annoying bugs from stinging and biting while getting into the thick brush. I've used these with various gardening tools and power equipment beyond gardening and the palm and fingertip areas have yet to start showing wear on them. Can't be happy enough with these leather gauntlets. The fit is also perfect. Comfortably loose around the arm and just snug enough around the fingers. Will be buying them again If and when this pair ever wear out.

I love these......the cat hates them!.
I don't have a garden....what I do have is a cat who hates being groomed, so far his teeth and claws have not managed to pierce through these gloves, I am free of scratches and bite wounds at last, I now have a very well groomed and somewhat pissed off cat!.

Durable and do the job
These gauntlet gloves have served me well for two years , providing good protection against nettles and partial protection against brambles and dog rose. When it came time to get gloves for the crew helping plant a vineyard, these were my repeat choice. I am a woman with medium-sized hands, but chose size large so my spouse with larger hands could also use them. Not knowing hand sizes for the (male) vineyard crew, I got large and extra large, but none of the crew used the extra large.

Sizing a tad off.
After reading that someone else had commented that the medium were a little short in the fingers, I bought a large. I wear Marigolds in the medium size and am probably half way between a small and a medium in those. So these Large ones are quite lose on the hand but not so much they fall off. My fingers reach the tips of the gloves. My thumb has a couple of centimetres spare.... I bought them as they were not too expensive and I don't have too much of this sort of work to do in my small garden. The day I had ordered them I had ripped the skin on my arm so they are necessary. I am back out there working on the same shrubbery today and feel confident my lower arms are protected, not just from newly cut branches but also the occasional nettle.

Great fitting gloves
These are surprisingly nice gloves. After having tried plenty similar designs in garden centres that all seemed to have stubby fingers it was nice to use a pair that fit pretty well. I have used them a bit whilst weeding and it's all good. They are heavy duty and will prevent you stabbing your fingers on thorns

Scratched and stung arms no more
I have a somewhat 'wild' garden with many things that scratch, stab and sting. Ordinary gloves protect the hands but pulling out tall nettles, brambles etc. tend to attack your arms when wearing summer clothing. This has cured 90% of the problem. A long and viscious nettle is quite capable of reaching many parts of your body these cannot protect! I treat all things with hard sharp thorns with care as some can go through tougher looking gloves than these, but so far they have stood up to 'normal' use well.
