Good Scent - But Not As Strong as In The Past

I prefer to order these in larger quantities, but found I couldn't open the plastic containers with my arthritis. So am stuck buying these comparatively higher priced pods. But that's the price for liking the Gain scent - although I have noticed lately that scent does not appear to be as strong as it used to be; maybe it's the addition of the Oxi and Febreeze. Detergent does do a good job of getting clothes clean.

More Important is, What I DON'T Smell Like...

Ever get sick of all the empty jugs of discount laundry detergent taking up space in the trash? I did. That's why I switched from liquid to pods. I started off with eco friendly brand; they came in a recyclable box and everything. Unfortunately, 1/2-way through my gym routine I smelled of wet dog. Deep down, my detergent wasn't removing the odors. Who knew!?! Gain Flings is tough on dog odor. It comes in a plastic bag, which isn't great for the environment, but I'm still going to give it 5-stars.

Ruined my favorite sweater!

While these pods are convenient and smell wonderful, they ruined several pieces of clothing during a couple of loads of laundry. The pod apparently did not completely dissolve in my washer, and when the clothes were put into the dryer the plastic remnants melted into the clothing. I had done several loads of laundry before I could figure out what was causing the problem. Out of these items, a very expensive sweater, one of my favorites, was completely ruined when the plastic melted and stuck to pieces of the fabric together.

Works great on dirty construction clothes ????

The scent is a little much for us personally but they clean my husbands work clothes SO WELL. He works in concrete forming so his clothing gets wrecked very quickly from all the chemicals in the concrete. This is the only laundry detergent that actually gets the chunks off concrete off his jeans and pants. Amazon is roughly the same price as my Walmart so I appreciate that I don’t have to carry it on the bus or pay for a cab home.

Boo hiss, I don’t like re-washing laundry

Unfortunately these really haven’t worked for me. Twice now, I have taken laundry out of the dryer only to discover hard patches of fabric that are seemingly glued together. I’ve never had this happen with liquid detergent. Apparently this happens when the Fling doesn’t fully disintegrate. I followed instructions and put the Fling in before any of my laundry (sheets), but it still has happened twice using my new high efficiency washer. Since I don’t inspect my laundry when I take it out of the wash (I just put it directly into the dryer), both times I didn’t realize this had happened until I had finished washing and drying the load. Darn the luck. I love the moonlight breeze scent and I expected using Flings would be a smidge more convenient, as you don’t need to measure detergent or fill the dispenser. Sadly, these are just inconsistent when it comes to fully dissolving in my washing machine. Since re-washing laundry isn’t my idea of fun, I’m going back to using Gain liquid detergent :) I hope my review is useful to others.

smells great but not for me

i prefer just using reg liquid.. tried these for something different and TBH didnt find a difference at all except for the scent.. but i can get that from using gain beads .. kinda expensive too.. alright for someone who may not have a lot of laundry to do but if you have a ton to do all the time with a lot of people this isnt your bang for your buck here..just my opinion-- if they were cheaper id like them, just lasted 2 weeks for me.

Excelente producto! El olor no es de lo mejor cuando lo hueles solo al sacarlo de la bolsa, pero al lavar puedes poner suavizante (lo cual no necesita) pero solo por el olor, si lo que quieres es que huela ademas de lavar. Puedes poner una carga de ropa a velocidad normal, no lavado rapido para que deshaga el cubito facil y no manche la ropa. Mi lavadora tiene 9 niveles de agua, yo uso el nivel 5 con un solo cubito y lava muy bien. Para mas carga, usa dos pads. El paquete protegido y a tiempo.
