Wish it wasn't made in China.

Overall the product looks good - but would not have bought it had I known it was made in China. Way too expensive for a Chinese made product. Thailand would have been more acceptable but really for the price it should be German. Only just large enough for large rolls. Unlike the spare roll holder in the same style - only suitable for small rolls.

the toilet paper easily falls off the open end, very disappointed

I bought all three of the same design and love two of them. The toilet paper holder has an open end and the toilet paper easily slips off onto the floor. I would have returned it but I had already thrown the original box away.

Not sturdy at all

Do not recommend it at all. Waste of money. This product is not sturdy on the wall. It was loose from day 1. I'm very unhappy with it. Finally, I will have to replace it with a more solid, sturdy product.

Horrible item - doesn't stay on wall and continues to fall off.

Extremely difficult to install and never stays on wall. Beautiful, but not worth the price.

Andrex Quilt toilet roll do not fit properly

In terms of quality this seems like a really well make toilet roll holder. However it has a major design fault in that Andrex Quilt toilet rolls do not fit properly on the roll holder. Considering this is a premium item it should really be able to handle premium toilet rolls such as Andrex Quilt which are slightler bigger than normal toilet rolls.

Almost perfect

The item looks the part … well made, modern and design means that it is very sturdy on the wall. The instructions supplied in the box covered most of the range … robe hook, towel rail, etc but nothing to actually cover this item. However, in fairness, you don’t really need any instructions. Mark up the holes, drill and screw in. All fittings are concealed.

Get what you pay for

Product exudes quality and I've generally trusted the Grohe brand for various other bathroom items. Product is simple to install, just make sure you install the back plate the correct way round, or it won't screw in place Simple but very elegant and modern.

Beautiful and practical

Easy to fit, you do need to drill a couple of holes, so some DIY skills required. If in tiles make sure you know what you are doing. Very sturdy and simple design. Grohe is a go to make.

I dislike the way the toilet paper rolls off the holder. Not worth the price
