Simple and useful

I bought a few of these for my bathrooms a while back, and my parents liked them so much, they asked for them for Christmas! :) Great price, sturdy product, space-saving, and imminently useful.

Great 2 roll holder

Lovec this holder; second time buying it. Heavy gauge, easy to use, and inexpensive. Only complaint is the part inside the tank should be better plated or stainless - it will, after several years, rust and fail.

Works well, attractive, and lasted 9 years

I bought this 9 years ago and used it in two different homes without built-in roll holders. It works well and is attractive and fits two very big toilet paper rolls. Eventually (9 years) the hook over the toilet tank corroded through. I'm buying the same holder again to replace the broken one.

Do not make my mistake!

This is a very nice product and does exactly what it should. The only problem I did not consider is that it works best on a front flush lever toilet. It clips/hangs on the left side (as you face the toilet). My flush lever is on the left side. No problem, I put it on my basement front flush lever toilet. P.S. I have no idea why softness is a rating characteristic on the product.

Works well for standard toilets

This should fit *most* toilets, but if you have a non standard toilet, it may not work well. It should also be noted that this really only works on the LEFT side of the tank as you are facing the toilet. That is typically the same side that the flush handle is on, which can interfere with this holder. Also, because it is kind of behind your right shoulder when you are sitting on the pot, you probably need to reach with your left hand. I'm right handed, so that would not be my preference. If you mount this on the other side, there is a tendency to knock the roll off the holder as your hand is moving in the same direction that the roll slides off. This can leave you in a precarious position of 1) not having any TP to complete the task you are process of, and 2) having to root behind a toilet looking for fallen TP. Also, on my modern low rise Eljer toilet, the tank lid doesn't quite close properly when this is hanging on the tank. That said, I have one toilet that is more standard shaped, with the handle on the front of the tank, so this is working well with that one.

Keeps cats from shredding toilet paper in our house

We've had a dispenser like this one for years in our downstairs bathroom. The only complaint I've had with it is the part that attaches inside the tank rusts. This is not a deal breaker though and you can't see it from the outside. We had to get that one because there was no wall dispenser in that bathroom. I've purchased thisone because our two youngest cats love playing with the toilet paper on the wall dispenser in our other bathroom. For some reason they don't bother this type. It looks a lot like the one we've had so I anticipate it will last a long time. We've had that one for almost 12 years. And it still works great. I also like that there's a spot to keep an extra roll. Super handy!
