Cute but a hassle to assemble.
I plan to use this for an herb garden on my balcony. As other reviews have noted, it’s a pain to put together. The holes for many of the screws aren’t pre-drilled. While the wood is fairly soft, we still had multiple screws that we couldn’t get fully screwed in without stripping the screw. One even broke in half. The instructions also don’t have step by step directions. We’ve put together tons of flat pack furniture and figured it out, but you definitely need to check and check again that you have the right length screw each time. The planter is very cute and was just the size I needed, but prepare to be frustrated during the assembly process.

Perfect Mother's Day Gift!
Bought this for my mom for Mother's Day. She loves it and it was a great gift!! One piece of wood was missing, which I am hoping the seller will send to me (small piece that supports the lower shelf). Otherwise, I am delighted with this purchase!! The wood is beautiful...and the planters/pots are the perfect size for a deck garden.

Side panel missing
I was missing side panel...emailed them and it was responded too quickly. So high marks for customer service. It’s a pretty nice planter...needs about $3 worth of wood to improve top where tubs go...not big deal.

Deserves a scathing review
Rarely do I write really scathing reviews, but this product deserves it. Many of the "pre-drilled holes" were non-existent, leaving you to guess where they should be. One of the legs split immediately upon putting in the first screw. The next screw hit a knot and wouldn't go in. The assembly instructions have errors and omissions. For instance, they show the bottom brace flush against the leg edge. So off you go, screwing in the brace just as you see it. Then later in the assembly process you find out the brace isn't long enough to reach the other side. So you back the screws out and attach the brace to the center of each leg instead. Now you have nice holes showing. If you do use what pre-drilled holes there are, you're going to find the legs don't line up evenly. Now you have a wobble garden. And the icing on the cake? Put on a gas mask when you put in the plastic bins. I have smelled plenty of toxic MIC products before but this one was the absolute worst. I was gagging. And I'm supposed to grow food in those?? I don't think so. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to replace them, or line them with something so my soil doesn't touch them lest I grow mutated jalapeno peppers with ten heads and fifty eyes. This is most definitely a regrettable purchase, but there weren't enough reviews yet to know all this. Now you know.

Sturdy, ergonomically designed
Worth the price I paid for. The materials are thick and hight quality wood. Good finish, it looks very nice. It is the right height for a 5 foot 1 person like me. Ergonomic, protects my back when tending to my plants. Be ready to be creative in building the planter tho. There are two types of screws and they are all lump in one bag. The instruction sheet also did not specify which type of screw to use. You have to make judgment based on the thickness of the parts that you are putting together. The layer below the planter is also not easy to place. There are no markers where you should screw the wood holder. I suggest you measure the legs and mark them to where you intend to place the layer. I used 25 inches from the top but I wish i could have added two more inches to allow more room for plants. That will give you about 3 inches from the ground.

Very nice raised bed garden.
This is a nice unit. If you know how to use a screwdriver it's easy to assemble but keep in mind the assembly screws -although stainless steel (nice touch)-are a specific torx head, not phillips or slotted heads. Once assembled you have a nice unit, sturdy, well constructed out of nice looking wood. I like the 4 plastic, square planter boxes that comes with it. large and deep with drain holes, they're perfect for what I am growing in them, Basil, 2 types of lettuce and and cilantro. I keep it outside on my deck so I can walk right out, harvest whatever I need without having to bend down as it's the perfect height.

Poor quality, assembly difficult
Overall poor quality. This should not cost more than 50$. There are not pre drilled holes - so this is not a simple assembly. You will need a screwdriver, drill, 5/32 bit, mallet/hammer, level, and optionally some clamps. If you are more or less handy you can get it put together well. The wood on mine had a few cracks and dents, and it seems like the sides were labeled upside down as the groove should be on the bottom instead of the top. Needs better hardware and pre drilled holes for simpler assembly. Will update on how well it holds up.

Very nice
This piece works very nicely and is a good fit for us. The wood used for the legs and the bottom shelf could be a big bigger but truly, in time I'll change that. Where do you get extra planter buckets for it?
