Warmer than the average
Good product, it's warmer than classic socks but I still get my feet cold. Overall worth buying. Very thick and comfortable.

weird length with band that cuts into calves
Admittedly, I'm pretty sensitive to any clothing that has any discomfort factors, and these are just the wrong length. If I wear them fully extended, I can feel them cutting into my calves and they are not comfortable. The band at the top is strong, and the lenght is about mid-calf on me... They end up sliding down anyway, so I just roll the tops down and wear them around the house when it's cold. I LOVE heat-holder socks though... I'm prone to having very cold feet, and heat-holders are AWESOME at keeping my feet warm. These particular ones are just the wrong length for me and my sensitivities. I prefer the ones that come all the way up under the knee (I think they call them the extra long ones now). Otherwise, these are soft, cozy, and keep my feet warm.

super soft and cozy, excellent warmth
Why I bought this product: I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband (he gets cold feet all the time). What I really like: These are super soft. My husband opened them up, put them on and said “honey you have to try these on!” I did…and he was right, they are quite spectacular. The inside is very soft, but not so soft that they slip off easily. They provide warmth quickly. They are thick socks, but he said that he could still wear his shoes like normal and did not notice that it was too snug which is a plus. He traveled to the East coast during winter and said these were a lifesaver! I certainly did buy him more. What I really do not like: No dislikes, my husband absolutely loves these and even requested more pairs. Packaging: My item was shipped right away, and I received prompt notification. Great thermal socks
Could not ask for better thermal socks. I even wear these with sandals out in the blistering cold, and my feet are very warm and dry.

You will not be disappointed!
My husband has been doing work outside in some of this wintry weather. He is really sensitive about his feet getting too cold. I was delighted to find these Heat Holders Thermal Socks. A warm sock that dosen't require batteries! I bought a few pairs of them. On milder days he can wear these socks alone and be very comfortable. In the really biting cold he wears a pair of reg sport socks under the Heat Holders Thermal Socks. His feet stay warm and he is most satisfied. His recommend for this type of product is HUGE! For his feet to be warm in low temp's is quite a feat. Heavy wool socks cannot hold a candle to these. We are delighted with this purchase! Also....a shout goes out to Amazon! Recently I signed up for 2 classes. The list of needed items for each class was quite extensive. Instead of running all over the city looking for each product, I just went online, went directly to Amazon and ordered everything I needed w/ one shot. Even w/ shipping I got either a better deal on Amazon or @ least broke even. Saved a lot of gas and aggravation! It was wonderful having it all delivered to my doorstep. Spent over $300 on a lot of individual items and as always, Amazon was a saving grace. You are the Best, Amazon! for finding most anything anyone could want, fast shipping, and Great Customer Service! One small suggestion....don't make it so difficult to find your customer service telephone number. Otherwise...Big Kudos!

Not for the long haul
I bought these socks about 15 months ago. I say "Not for the long haul". Yes they keep your toes and feet warm as good as any other wool sock. No they don't stay up on my leg. I had to pull them up constently. They also seem to fall apart from the inside out. I kept finding little wool pieces on my rug when I wear these socks. No I will never purchase these ever again.

I've tried all kinds of socks... And if you ask me - these are surely warmer than wool socks of the same thickness or even thicker... I have full wool socks rated for Fifty Below, and these seem to do just as well but are less thick and infinitely more comfortable... Maybe it's just me but this type of brushed sock is great, not only warmth but super comfortable... The brushed material may, after a few months, begin to flatten and ball up - but that's just the nature of the material and since the price is right the benefits of this sock far outweigh the negatives... Really, give them a try - "brushed inner" sounded like a sort of gimmick to me, but it's really not - it has a unique way of holding in heat...

Love these
I love these - they keep your feet warm without causing sweaty feet the way other slippers can. I use them as slippers. Although they are called socks, they are much too thick to wear with shoes. But they keep my feet comfortable during the winter when the house is cooler, they are super soft to the feel, and they don't have the overheating effect of some slippers. Worth every penny, and I've had the same 2 for years now so they last.

Comfy
Very warm and comfortable. After the first hand wash i saw some detoriation already so i'm not sure about how it will hold up on the long term. It's a good lenght and is stretchy enough so that you can put an other sock inside if its very cold.

Great winter socks
Great socks - keep my feet warm and dry. Drawback - lots of lint from the fuzzy inside material but I can live with that since socks are so comfy.
