Broken on Arrival
These were exactly what I was looking for - right size and no rubbery anti-slip on the inside. Unfortunately like other reviewers, a couple of mine arrived broken. I suspect it is because Amazon shipped them in a bag instead of a box. They were also all black, unlike the product photo. I don't mind so much about that though, just bummed that some were broken and now unusable.

The clips themselves are fine but all 6 were black instead of 2 black, 2 brown and 2 clear. Please update the photos or send the product that is shown.

Satisfied so far
These just arrived. So it might be a little early to rate them. The feel of them is good. The springs are nice and strong making them close well. I might like the plastic to be thicker for less chance of breaking, but, i don’t think that they are a fake product. I’d like to have them have rubber inside so they don’t slip, but I knew before purchasing them that they wouldn’t. That said, I think I can fix that myself with a glue gun. Importantly, they arrived in a bubble wrap type envelope. All were intact and working. That is even after shipping halfway around the world and multiple delivery attempts. I should mention too that I received a pack of 6 black clips, not the pack with three colors. Another thing that in all fairness should be mentioned is that THE CLIPS ARE ROUNDED. Not sharp as another rater stated.

Goody Hair Clips Aren't So Goody
I've had a set of these Goody Hair Clips for more than a decade and I loved them. They had a no-slip feature and obviously lasted well beyond what would be expected from a simple hair clip. When my last one finally broke, I came to Amazon to find replacements and was stoked to come across what appeared to be the same clip. Unfortunately, these are not the same. The description says they have a no-slip feature but not one that I could see or witnessed in their use. The plastic and clipping mechanism is very cheap. The first one I grabbed broke in my hand when I squeezed open the clasp. These are very cheaply made; not good quality at all. Lastly, when I purchased these I purchased the color variety pack (clear, brown, black) and received an all-black pack. These Goody Hair Clips turned out to be a bit of a disappointed. They don't make them like they used to. Thankfully, they aren't too pricey.

Great clips but colors vary
I actually bought these to hold open window sheers that I pull to the side and clip. They are perfect for the purpose as they hold but don't crease the fabric. BUT! I ordered three clear clips for my white lace sheers and I received black and brown ones. So, if color matters, you may be disappointed. Anyway, a good workable product so I give it 5 stars with a qualifier.

Update and it's GOOD! ..... The old review was bad
The old review applies to an older purchase of these. This time the ones sent hold much better and they have little gripper fingers inside to hold them in place, this version works very well. I took a photo of one on a small quilting ruler so you can get the idea of the overall size. OLD REVIEW: These are lightweight, won't even hold my fine hair in place. The springs are too easy to open, probably made from the cheapest junk metal they could find. Simply put - not worth a penny. What happened Goody Goody, I used to be able to rely on your products? I won't ever buy another one of your products.

Will Buy Again
Why is it so difficult to find clear clips?! I always have to them with black and brown and they seem to always be the first to break! Grrrrr. These have stood the test of time! All of them! I have excessive black clips but the clear have stood sturdy even through constant in and outs of a hard hat work situation. None of the tongs have broken, the spring is firm, I am pleased.

Poor quality. Will not buy again.
I got set with 6 black clips (Goody Classics Half Claw Hair Clip, 6 Count). Problem: Poor quality. I have been buying this clips for very long time. The clips used to be padded (had rubber material glued to it) and that makes huge difference, especially with fine, straight hair. This clips are very basic quality, and can easily be purchased for less than 1/2 price of what I just paid. Several of them are scratched and I would never pick them as such in store. I am keeping them because I cannot find packaging it came with, so cannot return, but will not buy again.

So cheap, they squeak
If you’re looking for something so cheap and brittle that they squeak when you open them, and want to completely waste your money, then these are the clips you need. Shame on you, Goody. You used to be good.

Producto no recomendado.
Producto mucho más grande de lo que se ve en la foto. Yo pensé que eran de los pequeños y resulta que son grandes. Y lo peor es que NO se pueden devolver. Cero recomendables porque además el material esta corriente, hay otros mucho más fuertes y aguantadores. Estos se ve que se romperán fácilmente!
