Still like these the best!
Have been using these for decades. Are they the same quality clip that Goody used to make? No. But are they good enough? Yup. Other styles & brand of clips just do not work as well, ( including the ones with the "double row" of claws ). So they may only last 6 months to a year instead of 3 years...big whoop; for the price, ( especially when they're an "add-on" item ), I just buy extra packs.

Okay
these are not well made at all, very thin and they have all kinds of flash on them that are scratchy. They work and look nice but not the best, I dont expect them to last long at all if you use them like I do every day.

Wonderful clips! but they don't last forever
I love these clips! I've been using this brand and style for 10+ years. They are curved (which makes them much more comfortable). Plus they are great for long hair. My mom was using a different style clip. After she borrowed one of these, she is switching. Only downside is they don't last forever. (They seem to be using a new kind of plastic.) I bought a set 6 months ago. Primarily used the black and clear clips. Last week the plastic started to break on both of them. It is annoying, but I bought a replacement set today. Comfort wins... every time.

Cheaper plastic than years past
These clips are definitely at an all time low quality. I have a clip of this brand from maybe 8 years ago and the few I’ve purchased over the last two years are terrible quality. The plastic has no give so the claws break off easily. It’s a shame how the quality of so many things has become so poor. These work but are the equivalent to that of dollar store products. :(

Very flimsy and breakable
These broke pretty quickly after purchase. They are flimsy and not good for long/ thick / curly hair types.

One of the clips broke, the tortoiseshell, which was my favorite. I have pretty thin shoulder length hair. So that sucks. But they're a good size and work well otherwise.

Hard to pinch
I find these hard to pinch to open. Maybe my hands are too small, but I find it quite difficult. It takes a few tries and I have dropped one trying to get a grip on it (fell on the ceramic tile floor, didn't break). I am also not very happy with the size. I used to have a larger one when I was younger and thought this size (the next size down) would be appropriate not too over the top. I find it too long and odd against the back of my head. It makes my hair go all fountain spout out the top (when I twist all the hair into a pony and clip it up against the back of my head). Maybe my hair is thinner than it was, and less curly. I have learned maybe I am too old to rock these again. Oh well!

Painful.
I was hoping these would be good now that I have grown out my hair. I found them very painful to be honest. First of all, they are very stiff and I have a hard time opening them with one hand, which is useless when you are styling your hair. Secondly, it's like the claws have not been filed down at the end and there is a lot of hard sharp plastic that digs into and/or scrapes my head while you are putting them in. I won't be buying them again.

Hair grabbers do exactly that. Yus, very good.
The first set shipped to me had broken prongs on it, but it was shipped in an envelope in the winter so it may have been bumped while cold and brittle. They sent out a replacement free of charge and the next day! I would recommend mailing these in a small box if possible. They are a great size, very comfy, excellent hold.

Have Used These for Years and Years
I'm gad that they are still manufactured and made available. For over 30 years, I've used this same SKU and have only gotten a bad batch twice. Once the clips were so brittle that they shattered as soon as I put them into my hair. Another time, the teeth weren't finished, so they weren't smooth. Instead they were sharp and with some jagged edges. Otherwise, this product has served my family well! Thanks GOODY!

Holds up it's end of the Bargain
I expected a cheap claw clip to hold up my hair, nothing fancy, that's what I got. It's a bit scratchy on my scalp, but it's perfect for throwing into a tote at taking to the pool/beach/somewhere I might lose something more valuable. I wouldn't recommend these for fashion purposes though.
