Big!

It is very cute especially for the price so I am not going to return it for a smaller size. I wear size 10/12 jeans depending on brand, so for dance attire, I typically buy XL do to my hips and thighs - however this skirt is already a little large so when I lose some weight I may have to alter it! I would recommend buying a smaller size b/c it is a tie side skirt!

It's a very pretty buttercup yellow. The sizing is great because it is essentially adjustable. My 11 year old who is quite petite is able to wear it because the wrap style allows it to fit a variety of sizes.

Love this skirt

Love this skirt! I bought a size small for my daughter (80 lbs., wears a girls' size 12 or 14 slim). It does not fit her like the model in the picture, but we like how it looks on my daughter better. She wraps it around her body so it overlaps. One of the ties goes around her waist in the back and she pulls it around to tie it on the side. She got Seafoam green, and the color is quite lovely. It perfectly matches the Sansha leotard (which runs ridiculously small BTW). I will definitely buy this brand/product in the future.

Sleek, Adaptable Fit

Though generally a SM or M in dance clothes, I bought this in a Sansha 6/XL to get a more wrapped look, even more wrapped than the Royal Blue photo above. And the XL being 42.5" at the waist and a tapered 15.5"-7" long provides substantial wrap when sizing up! The combination of georgette and the sleek, asymmetrical fit provides coverage while working for both a more traditional and a more casual class. I now own this skirt in 5 colors.

Great short wrap skirt, great price

This skirt beautifully complements the Sansha burgundy leotard I also ordered. Unlike most skirts, the chiffon fabric has a little bit of lycra in it for resiliency. When worn at the waist, it crosses in front like wrap skirts usually do. I believe if you wish to achieve the look in the promotional photo, it would be necessary to order one or two sizes down. A great short skirt at a great price. FYI - with Sansha it is necessary to use their size chart to get the proper fit.My dress size is a 6, but dancewear sizing is different and I wear a L(5) or XL (6) in Sansha dancewear.

Same Quality as More Expensive Dance Skirts

Perfect! Nice flowy fabric with a black ribbon tie/waistband. I bought it for my daughter who is a size 2 and it's plenty large. (I could've gotten a small, but thought I'd err on the larger side.) But, since it's a wrap around design it fits and ties just fine. It's generous in size and would fit around hips of anyone up to size 14 with enough overlap to tie.

The navy is a lovely color (coordinates nicely with the burgundy Sahara leotard). The fabric is semi-sheer - opaque enough for modesty but you can still see the leg line. I washed it on cold, delicate cycle, and it still looks nice.
