Very nice

'Works just fine. I was concerned that they might be too big to allow use of one in a 2-socket receptacle without blocking use of the other socket . . . . but, it was not too big and just worked perfectly for my purposes. My use might be a little different than some . . . . I wanted this for my hot tub. It is wired to run on 120v and sometimes the thermostat fails to re-start the heater. We have a second home and I have a temperature sensor that alerts me when the spa is cooling down beyond a certain set temperature. When this happens, if I am home, all I have to do is to turn the spa off and back on and that usually causes it to resume heating - - - 'LOVE my spa and don't want to return home to is being cold. Anyway, with this, if I'm away and get a low temperature alert, I can remotely turn the spa off and then turn it back on . . . that, as noted above, will generally re-start the heating cycle. I will buy more of these as needs arise. I was also concerned that the start-up draw from my spa might be more than this smart plug could handle. But, so far, no problem with that either! 'Happy! UPDATE: Well, it worked for awhile. However, it turns-out my original concern was valid. The amperage draw on the spa exceeds the 15 amp rating of this device and it has failed - - - 'my fault, not Globe's! Now I will see if I might be able to find a suitable unit that will control up to ~25amps . . . . My other unit, that only controls a couple of outside lights is still working just fine. Don

Works Great With 2ghz wifi

We wanted to hang string lights up outside but only had an outlet not a light switch. This device was the perfect solution. And it works seamlessly with our Alexa. So great to be able to be inside and turn them off vocally without having to go back out and hitting a switch. The only thing you need to know is the if you have dual wifi router (5ghz & 2ghz) you will have to have two networks and link this device to the 2ghz network. It wouldn’t connect to the 5ghz one.

Works beautifully

I bought a few plugs for Christmas decorations because our mechanical timers were too difficult to program varying off and on times. Once I got the first one connected to our WiFi, connecting the second timer was easy. I loved these so much that we’ve replaced all our timers in the house - the convenience of scheduling off and on times is worth the price. Not having to buy a separate hub was another selling point - the app works great.

Really like This Product

I’ve got five of these outdoor switches for my Christmas lights and have worked exceptionally well. I do wish they would add some enhancements for Christmas lights like flashing, twinkling etcetera.

Solid, easy, just works !

I’ve recently become a huge fan of Globe. I think their products are very easy to set up and I’ve found they tend to just work without a lot of fuss. I’ve slowly been replacing all of my Wemo with these and haven’t looked back. Definitely recommend. Easy to use with Google Home, set routines, timers, etc.

Bought two of these to turn my air conditioner "smart". They originally came with a remote that was hard to find its sweet spot so connecting it to a smart plug was a really handy solution. For reference, my ACs are rated as 15 A, 60 Hz, and 1800 W - no issues with the plugs which are rated at very close values.

Dose not connect to wifi

I have had other globe smart home products m, and they have been decent. This outdoor smart plug I would not recommend buying. I honestly have spent a full day trying to get it to pair and it simply will not. I have deleted the app, installed it twice and reset my wifi in my home. You name it I have done it to try and get this thing to connect. It’s not worth your time, but another brand for outdoor plug sadly.

Works great!

Great outlet, solves the issue of “Did I remember to unplug the curling iron?”. I can shut the specific plug off or the entire power bar remotely, super convenient. The app was a little bit difficult to get paired with the plug, a little bit of digging in their FAQ section and it was all good. In addition to Alexa you can use Siri to set up commands to turn off and on.

Works great!

I got this to be plug in my electric fireplace to heat the room an hour before bed. It works great! No more climbing stairs. I did however find a 3 pack at Canadian tire for $19.99. Highly recommend this product.
