Best Value for Natural Rinse Aid
I've been using the Ginger Lilly Rinse Aid for a couple of months, and I'm happy to say it works great in my Bosch machine. I saved an old Rinse Aid bottle from another natural brand that costs WAY more, so I could refill with this. Easier to do than dumping too much with the big bottle. Dishes come out great and it is natural. I don't notice a scent, and it rinses clean in my machine. No spots! Very happy with the product and will be buying again.

Spot-free Rinse Agent
Have you seen the prices for those name-brand dishwasher rinse aids? Itty-bitty bottles that last about a month. This Ginger Lily product works just as well. Keeps the spots off of the dishes without cleaning out my wallet.

Like many....
Like many.... ...other reviewers, my "go to" rinse aid is "Finish Jet Dry Ultra" always bought at Costco ON COUPON. The most recent cost per 32 ounce bottle was $7.99, and Jet Dry rates that bottle as providing 300 washes. So, a gallon of Jet Dry on coupon: $32.00 and 1200 washes. This: $30.00 but no claim as to how many washes you will get from the gallon (at least none that I can find). Up until now, my Bosch dishwasher has only had "Finish Jet Dry Ultra" brand in it. The thing I and you will notice immediately (if Jet Dry has been your brand) is color and lack of color. Jet Dry is blue. This is a clear/white, almost iridescent liquid. The Jet Dry is thicker, though not something as thick as, say, "Dawn" dish washing liquid. This product is closer in thickness to water. Because it came in a gallon bottle, I poured 4 ounces in a pyrex cup to refill my dishwasher (which a month after ordering this, finally told me it wanted a refill). My dishwasher only took 2 ounces, so my stainless steel sink got a treat. If you put your nose up to the bottle, you may detect a slight scent, but otherwise, I would agree this is pretty much unscented. How did it do??? Using the same cycle, doing all the same things (getting the water hot before starting the dishwasher, etc.).... The look and feel of anything shiny...glass, glazed dinnerware, flatware (etc) was the same. Excellent. Dry, shiny and no spots. The plastic, well, I don't use a true dry cycle, though the Bosch may be doing a little bit of drying. All of the plastic was, again, identical and that is wet and spotty, removed to dry in the, next to the sink, dish drain. I think it's fair to say, the main "advantage" of this is the lack of fake colors, scents, thickeners (not saying Jet Dry uses one, but....) and it represents itself as "green" being all of those things and "plant based". For most, the gallon bottle is both convenient and inconvenient. You won't run out for a while, but pouring and storing may force you to be more creative than just using the convenient "little" 32 ounce bottle of Jet Dry (I'm gonna save mine when it's finally empty and fill it with this....). Based on the initial performance, it appears to be a good product. Time, how often I see the "refill rinse aid" message/how long it actually lasts will determine if I would order it again. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Am I the rinse aide?
This was the first time I've ever bought and used a rinse aide and it's also the first time I've needed to rinse my glasses after they come out of the dishwasher. I have no idea if this is normal, it's not a complete disaster, I just noticed that a few glasses from each load end up with some dried white dust that needs to be rinsed, whereas prior to using the rinse aide I never needed to rinse the dishes both prior to and after placing them in the "dishwasher". Other than the occasional residual deposit, the glasses seem a bit clearer, I've continued to add it to the dishwasher as needed, but I don't know as if I will replace the giant bottle once it's gone.

Reduces water marks
here are some key points in my overall experience with this product: - i like that the product is fragrance free and no VOC's - i like that it is vegan and plant based - does a good job of reducing food debris and water marks on dishes - Bulk jug, this will last me a long time! - overall good value, quality product, and experience! I would order again!

It works! Comparable to other name brands.
Very pleased to see Ginger Lily selling a plant-based rinse aid that is comparable in quality to other brands on the market. The product comes in a 128 fluid ounce jug (a gallon), so it can be a bit difficult to pour in the dishwasher. I moved it to smaller container to help reduce spilled contents. Overall, it definitely helps with keeping the water spots at bay. Some negatives: - The liquid is clear. Most of the these dishwasher reservoirs have a tiny window and the blue or green dye actually helps to see how much is left in there. It is harder to figure this out with a clear liquid. - The jug is difficult to use. A different spout (squeeze spout) may help this work better without wasting contents.

Pretty dang good
This rinse aid has left my plates and silverware sparking clean; I really like this product. My favorite aspect of this product is that it’s vegan and animal cruelty free. I feel like I’m making the world a better place by using this eco-friendly product. The only problem is the liquid disperses really fast from the top. Because of this, I end up wasting a lot.
