Solid mugs with a vintage 1970's Owl touch -- They're a "HOOT"! :)
I absolutely LOVE owls, so a few years ago when I saw one of these mugs at a local health food shop, it was was love at first sight! It was big, solid, and looked so vintage 1970's to me. It reminded me of my childhood days! The one I bought then was more brown, but in the same design as the green mug in this listing. Unfortunately, it was dropped accidentally and broke. So was my heart! I hadn't thought to look for them online at the time, so I thought that was it, no more "70's owl mug". Then I saw this listing and was thrilled -- and of course, I had to have them! :) The green mug is exactly like my poor broken brown mug, except that for some reason they decided to paint entirely over the flowers on it. My brown mug left the flowers visible, which I did prefer. But, it's still cute and vintage-y! :) The blue mug has actually become my favourite, which surprised me since the design is different than the green. It's such a pretty shade of blue! I know that sometimes the paint jobs might be a little imperfect -- a 'kooky' looking eye or something to that effect, lol. It really just adds to the charm of the owl, I think. :) I will say that in addition to these mugs being solid and big, they are also on the heavy side. If you have small hands like I do, you might want to use both to support it (if you're walking) when it's filled up. It holds the heat of your hot beverage nicely. It really starts my day out right to have a HUGE mug of tea in my owl mugs! :)

Comfortable to hold
These coffee cups are great for people who have arthritis. I can’t hold just any coffee cup comfortably. These are great and so so cute. I love that it can hold 12 Oz too!

Love my owl mugs!
I LOVE owls, so I had to have these mugs. They are the perfect size for a 12oz serving from my Kuerig. The handles are comfortable, they are microwaveable-just perfect. I might even buy another set of 2 !

They are the perfect size to wrap my hands around! They are the only ones I use despite having way too many other mugs & cups. These owl mugs complete the set that my sister-in-law started for me several years ago.

Perfect Gift
I purchased these for a friend who LOVES owls. She used them immediately. They were a good size and super cute. I haven’t seen anything like them in stores, so she didn’t already have something similar. Great gift!

Flawed product
I purchased these mugs to replace missing items from an original set of these owl mugs. While the designs were identical to my original set, these were slightly larger. One mug came with a chip and a fracture that leaks.

2 mugs, as advertised.
I know there are more to this set, (at least four) but you do get the ones in the photo - one red and one brown. They are an excellent size, and are great quality. They come packaged VERY well and arrived undamaged. I wish I could have ordered a set of four, but these will make a nice gift.
