this is a well made tuxedo jacket

I am a big fan of the tuxedo in general. I like hoe you can go super slim fitting to the extend up upping it a notch to include a short fitting tux jacket that shows the hands and then some traveling up the arm. I like that kind of fit as well as visual aspect. My favorite feature about a tuxedo is no the accompanying special button down shirt that can be worn with cufflinks but the lapel on the jacket part. For some reason i love the idea of a wide boarder within the middle of the jacket that is silky. I also love that the lapel i general is coming into fashion in more ways than just the tuxedo. In the past five years, i have seen the lapel find its way onto regular blazers within the casual to formal categories. With this great looking tuxedo top from the Haggar brand, i have found another gem by this trusted brand. I love how this brand shows its quality signatures by allowing you to choose from detailed sizes. This kind of selection is referred to being tailored made. I was a bit confused about that tern at first but now am familiar with it. Tailor made is a tern that is based on internet sales. The detailed sizes such as 40 regular, 40 short, 40 tall, 40 slim are all apart of a intricate sizing system that can't miss your size. This is true as long as you are familiar with your tailored size as if you were being measured at a department store, or specialty suit/tuxedo store by a tailor. I was happy to see this arrive in the mail with a hanger inside it. Comically it was then placed in a plastic bag which then arrived folded in three places. This is comical, because i will still need to take it to the drycleaners to get the wrinkles out, but i am not upset because the hanger inside showed at least an attempt to package it the right way. I will not ding the review because it arrived like that, because i have noticed there has been a complete change in the way fancy clothing is shipped. I feel it is a budget saving technique not specific to this brand but objectively, because i remember as short as three years ago, all blazers or tuxedos of any quality would arrive with a hanger, then in i a cardboard box made for jackets and such. Moving forward, i am super happy with everything about this tuxedo jacket. As i already mentioned, i am big into lapels. I take it to the next level though, with looking for indications of a well made lapel. This coat passes all of my inspection tests. I noticed the lapel material that is silky is even, all the way around the back, with the area where the stitching meets being sewn perfectly. Also, there is zero inconsistency with the silkiness of the said lapel. What i mean by this is, with lower quality lapels and sometimes medium quality lapels, there will be a wavy discrepancy pattern that often appears again on the back neck section. This Haggar jacket top is devoid of any inconsistencies within the lapel making it a perfect visual gem of a jacket. With the price of this being in the hundred and thirty or forty range, i consider this a medium priced tuxedo jacket. I am totally fine with that quality range and honestly think this is my favorite tuxedo jacket i own within the traditional solid black color. This size fits me like i just stepped out of a fitting room and was measured with one of those clothing measuring tape things. I love how all of the stitching is flawlessly sewn. I always expect a little inconsistency when looking at the stitching on the back or inside where the inner lining is. This does not have those expected little discrepancies which i find very agreeable. To conclude, i am very satisfied with this tuxedo jacket and recommend it. I feel this item is perfectly realized for what the product page claims, therefore i am giving this a perfect five star rating.

FOND, JAMES FOND!

And yes, absolutely, indubitably and completely fond of this Haggar Men's Premium Comfort Tuxedo Jacket. I was very lucky to be able to get one before they ran out. Supply was limited, probably not forever of course. But for now I am totally psyched and cannot wait to go out and celebrate something, anything at all. Not sure what I was expecting but I am certainly impressed with the result, especially because I was guessing at the size. Comes wrapped in plastic on a good quality hanger. Could barely wait to try it on and when I did I was grinning ear to ear. I looked so good! I was so pleased with the fit. All I need to do is shorten the cuffs a half inch or so. Then it will be Fond, James Fond! Should I hit the casino, or the racetrack, or the city ballet, or the museum ballroom...the options are vast.

Nice polyester tux jacket

I wasn't sure whether to order the tailored or slim fit, but went ahead with tailored in a size 40 for my son who is 6'0", 165 lbs. Overall, it fits him pretty well although the sleeves are a tad long and the jacket is slightly big all over. The first thing we both noticed is that there isn't any shoulder shaping/pads included so it made his shoulders look smaller than normal for some reason. It might be because the body of the jacket is a little big so it is making him look imbalanced! It is on the thin, lightweight side so it definitely feels like polyester and not like a higher end wool tux. It is a nice enough tux jacket, but it isn't the best of the best.

Beautiful suit jacket

This jacket is really nice. It has a shiny, tuxedo-like collar. Great fit and cut. My husband is 5' 8" and 175 lbs. We got a 42 regular.

Great fit & look. Quality craftsmanship. When you need to dress to impress!

I really like this jacket. I ordered a 42 regular based on the size chart, and it was the perfect fit - I’m 5’11” / 175, relatively thin build. Great look, comfortable to wear and convenient pockets. Definitely matches the level of quality you would expect from a name brand. The pictures really don’t do justice to how good it looks in person… and I’m no model. I do occasional “stage” work, and this is perfect for making an impression. There are a lot of tags on it when it shows up, and you have to be a little careful removing them, but otherwise a really great garment.

Great Haggar Tuxedo

I have several Haggar suit jackets and pants and they are all incredibly comfortable. I didn't have a Tux so I was excited to get one. This has a great texture to it like all my other suits and fits comfortably. When comparing suits to the tux the only thing that looks to be different is the two slats in the front of the suit are shiny compared to the other suits which are made of the same fabric as the whole suit. Like all my other Haggar attire, this looks great and is comfortable.

Extremely nice

This is a phenomenal quality tux jacket. Only returned it because we were unsure of the size my husband would need and it was too large and not a slim fit. He is extremely thin and tall so this may be a unusual situation.

Wow! Talk about a statement piece! This jacket js awesome. The lapel just begs to be touched. It draws the eye instantly. Sizing is right on.
