The arms are NOT lined with the Sherpa/fleece, but other than that it’s a warm, water proof jacket that my son looked cute in!

Very warm coat

This coat is very heavy and warm for cold weather. It is a solid piece with a zipper closure and velcro to hold the overlap over the zipper. It does go pretty high up under the chin. There is not an inner layer that removes, the inside is very warm and I am very pleased with it. It is true to size. I did hope that the inside had a removable layer, but even without that it does what its designed to do... Keep your little one warm. The hat that comes with it is pretty useless, it is not big enough to go over the head.

Ignore the negative "inside out" comments

I picked this up for my almost 6-year-old. He is pretty average sized and the coat is definitely big on him, especially the outer shell. I'm thinking by this next fall it will fit okay though. He has worn the puffy liner, however, since we got it and says it's super warm. The material feels really nice (sort of like a soft shell North Face jacket). As all of the other reviews have said, the inner coat has to be inside out to attach. That's sort of annoying, but pretty common with two stage jackets. Once it's attached, it doesn't really make a difference whether it's inside out or not because the material is the same either way. Anyway, I'm pretty thrilled with it.

Great quality!

Ordered this jacket for my 5 year old son. It’s very nice and good quality. I was so pleased that I ordered the same one for my 10 year old. Only issue is the zipper to attach the inner jacket to the outer is on the wrong side so the jackets can not be “attached” except by a snap at the neck and one in each arm. We generally don’t use the jackets together so this is not really an issue for us.

Awesome jacket

I loveeee this jacket for my son. It’s great, warm, and awesome that it comes with a beanie. Great price. My sons 3 but I got him a 5-6. Fits a little big but even better cause he can use it a few years.

Nice and warm jacket!

Love the jacket, nice and warm. I accidently got the medium 14/16 which is a large to me so it is big but my sone loves it and when I wash it regularly it will still fit.

Design Flaw Confirmed

The jacket arrives with the liner coat installed but unable to be zipped into the coat, if you unfasten at the inside wrists and collar, turn the inner jacket inside out, now you can zip it to the outer shell, I was able to then reattach at the wrists and collar, with slight bunching at the wrists because the fastening point is now on the inside of the sleeve vs the outside as shipped. The fastening point is not usable at the collar point when zipped in. I used the tag loop. There is a definite design flaw. Note in the picture the blue part of the jacket is shown as the inside, opposite of how it arrives with the black part. This would be a 5 star jacket at triple the price point if the design flaw was addressed. For $16.00 it is fine.
