Perfect for my project

Perfect for an unusual application
I'm sure there are a million uses for these simple hole plugs. I have several needs at home which is why I ordered them in quantity. I'll share one household application in which I could find no better solution. My home is open architecture, which means sometimes to run a simple speaker wire or cable coax mean going outside around the perimeter of the house and drilling a hole though the wall. I have at least 11 such holes to date. If there is only one wire it’s pretty easy to size the hole for a snug fit to the wire but several holes have to pass 2-3 cables though and the hole then becomes too large for a simple caulk patch. That's where these plugs come in. Unlike plastic, metal, or rubber a wood plug can be shaped with a Dremel tool to contour around the cables and tamped in to wood siding with glue for a snug fit. After that they can be sanded, primed and painted to match the house siding and after they are painted the look like they become part of the house. They work great where I had to move something and was left with a small hole. For other uses, such as decorative pegs for woodworking my expectations were low considering the price but I was pleasantly surprised that they are more than acceptable for most of my projects. Out of a quantity this large I expected a few duds, but in reality 100% of the plugs were usable, indicating good quality control. The value is excellent, the quality is good, I am satisfied with these.

Works to Carpenter Bee Holes!
Filled numerous carpenter bee holes. Spray if first - let dry - then plug it... Hammered it down flush and have not had any problems since.

Perfect for carpenter bees
Dab a little wood glue on one of these and it will fit into, and seal, most carpenter bee holes. Do it early in the morning, of course, before the bees start buzzing. Great product.

Great price, quick delivery and it fits
I liked the quick availability and decent price. They're not quite as nicely cut as previous plugs of this size that I've owned (don't remember that brand though). But that said, there work just fine for my project and I'm quite happy with them, especially their availability and quick shipment right in the middle of my project.

Made a couple of outside chairs and wanted to hide the screws which were counter sinked.Sanded and stained and it did the job.

Good tapered plugs for plugging countersinks. Minimal grain and light in colour. Better price than local lumber yards.
