Put on a Mini Cooper R53 (read review for specs)

I have a R53 Mini that has a +2% Crank Pully AND 15% Super Charger pulley and it took this belt K060539. Works perfectly.

WARNING: Not OEM. Does not work for 04 Mini Cooper R53, unless it has a reduced size pulley.

I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S and this did not match my vehicle. The old drive belt was starting to make a squealing noise and I figured it was time to replace it. Using the new belt solved the problem and the repair was fairly painless. I've done a bunch of research online and Gates is supposed to be one of the top manufacturers of drive belts. Also, if you want to know which parts fit your vehicle, before you search on Amazon, go to partstrain.com. Amazon is the better of the prices, though, but I find that it's part matching system is not 100% accurate as of the present date. Note: When I took it in to Oreilly's to get matched, they were out of the OEM size. The associate suggested I try a "better quality" model, which was this one. I later asked him if the size was the same and specifically if it was for the reduced pulley, or John Cooper Works edition. He verified it was for JCW, and I made sure to get the different belt from another location. You will be struggling for hours trying to figure out why this smaller belt will just barely not fit, otherwise. Serpentine Belt for R53 with Modifications

It fits well on my 2004 Mini Cooper S with a 15% reduction pulley on supercharger and a 2% larger lightweight crankshaft pulley. I have driven over 500 miles with this serpentine belt, and no issues thus far. It's a little challenging to install, but it was my first time. I'm sure the next go round will be easier.

Gates is a time honored name in the auto parts world & I was pleased to find this part for an older model Mini Cooper. The 12 month guarantee is great & only time will tell how well it performs.

Perfect belt for MCS 16%SC and 4%CR

This fit my Mini Cooper S with a 16% reduction Super Charger pulley and a 4% reduction crank pulley perfectly. The belt is nice quality, so I believe that it will last quite a while! Very pleased with this belt.

Did not fit my 2004 Mini Cooper S JCW

Did not fit my 2004 Mini Cooper S JCW. I finally figured out that this belt was my issue. Ended up replacing with one from in town that was slightly larger and my issues were resolved. Had to trash this belt as it was beaten up from not running right.

Fits R53 Mini with Supercharger and 15% pulley

Fits R53 Mini with Supercharger and 15% pulley. After my prior Supercharger started rattling, I replaced it and upgraded it to a ported one from way works motor, and upgraded the pulley to a 15% one. Fits fine, takes some armwork to get on.
