Great grip
Wonderful comfort!!

Not cheap but it’s worth it!
If you like the feel of a new tennis racquet grip this is for you.

tricky to start for a first timer
Amazing replacement grip! Love the feel. Both tacky and cushy. Only thing was trying to figure out the overlap at the beginning. Particularly because of the butt cap tapering. Some instructions would have been nice. I was concerned that I didn't overlap the beginning enough so actually unwrapped it and started over. The tape is sticky enough to hold it on but not so sticky that you can't unwrap it to start over. The finishing tape appears to be the standard size but would have liked a wider tape to better secure the end of the grip given that it is a bit thick and my racket tapers in at that spot.

Trouble cutting the finished end
First off, this grip is just what I wanted. I had a pro restring my racquet and replace my worn grip recently. I asked for the same grip I had on there (thick, spongy, a little tacky when it's clean, with a contour ridge); what I got was dead flat called something like "Gamma Micro-thin". This grip looks and feels perfect and I can't wait to give it a go on the court next week. I saw several reviews that said people had trouble with the finishing end of the grip, so I'd like to offer a few suggestions. To follow them, you will need a plastic cable tie, a pair of diagonal cutters, and a razor sharp blade. Before I started installing the grip, I measured the distance from the bottom of the butt to where I wanted the finished wrap to end, enough below the racquet's logo above the handle to allow half the width of the finishing tape to be applied to the bare handle and not cover the logo. With my wrapped handle length in hand, I stretched the grip to make sure it was plenty tight, with no bunching around the flare at the butt of the handle, and once the tapered section ended I overlapped each wrap such that the edge of the new wrap was touching, but not covering, the first vent hole along the edge of the previous wrap. My racquet has the fattest handle I could find in several tennis shops, and with that amount of stretch and overlap the grip supplied was plenty. I went ahead and wrapped it all the way to the top, covering the logo completely. Next I got out a cable tie that was long enough to fit around the handle, and cinched it down on the handle such that the edge of the cable tie furthest from the butt was the measurement to where I wanted the grip to end. I unwound the end of the grip material to where it was being held by the cable tie, and got out my trusty razor sharp Swiss Army knife (if yours isn't sharp enough to shave with, try a straight razor or one sided razor blade or X-ACTO knife or Stanley knife or something). Next, using the edge of the cable tie as a cutting guide, and pulling up on the end of the grip material so as to avoid cutting (and potentially weakening) the racquet's handle, I cut off the excess grip material in a fairly perfect circle. One snip from my small diagonal cutters got the cable tie off without damaging the grip beneath. Finally, I peeled the protective film off the back of the supplied finishing tape and, trying to stick half the width of the tape to the bare handle and the other half of the width to the grip material, I applied the tape in the same direction as the grip was wound.

This is a good quality grip
Online research pointed me to Gamma as one of the better grips. I had not bought grip material before so I didn't know what to expect. The old grip material had started to disintegrate- it was really old. I was very satisfied with the feel of this material so, I would have to say "Highly recommend" for Gamma grip in general and would definitely go with the Ultra Cushion version again.

Great grip, tidied up a racquetball racket.
Great grip, tidied up a racquetball racket. Bought 2 for 2 rackets, going to buy 2 more. Nice option to wrap with "vent holes" or textured surface.

Too textured for me
A whole lot of players and reviewers like this grip. It has a ridge that ends up as a helical bump along the wrap. It is supposed to aid grip, but I found the protrusion too firm and uncomfortable. It is nice material and went on perfectly without issues. Guess I'll try something smoother.

Easy to put on my racquet
Wasn’t sure I would like this grip after I wrapped it on my racquet but now that I have played several times, I am very pleased.

Comfortable and easy to install
I've had this now for over a year and it has held up quite well. The contoured grip feels good and it was fairly straightforward to put on the racquet. I am happy with this purchase.

Elevates a basic racket
Added this on top of the existing grip of my racket. I tend to get sweaty palms and find that this has good grip without feeling overly tacky like it would attract dirt. The padding is plush and makes my racket feel and look "premium" [EDIT: I had a private class and the coach was highly critical that this made the racket grip too thick for my hand and made me remove it. Please be cautious of this!] Easy to put on for someone doing this for the first time. I purchased the contoured version and had to be more conscious of applying it the correct way. Do note that there's not much excess length if at all, so you do need to be precise. I used black electrical tape to secure at the end instead of the branded sticker it came with. Would recommend!

Best Original Grips
I hope GAMMA wil never take this grip off the market. I have been playing tennis for 56 years and I have never believed in overgrips. I only play with original grips and replace it with a new original. This is such a quality cushion-like grip with a nice feel. I do not buy any other grips except this Cushion Contour, sold by Amazon. Good Quality, easy to install, good glue, long lasting.

New life to the old racquet
Easy to apply and long life.

Great replacement grip. Finishing touch is not perfect though.
This installed very easily and has a nice cushion feel and good grip. The only issue I found was that when you install it and get to the end, it doesn’t finish off nicely. I decided to wrap some electrical tape just around the last 1/4 inch to finish it off and it’s holding up nicely.
