Definitely worth the $47

I have been using a side table to have a makeshift "L shape" desk, so I decided to buy this desk as a replacement for the table. This works perfectly as a side desk and would make a great main desk if you intend it to be for a preteen or younger because it isnt very big (per the dimensions). The assembly was a little confusing when putting together the C and D uprights, but that was my fault for not reading carefully. The screws that you use for the main shelves can be hard to reach, but a small screwdriver will help. After reading other reviews about the desk and plastic legs being brittle, I took an hour and put this together slowly and carefully. If you don't over tighten and take your time, this turns into a sturdy desk.

It’s small.

This desk is small. I work from home and have my laptop and printer on it and it is not enough space. If you need small this is the desk for you. Overall it is sturdy and I have had no issues with it.

Good if you don't need/have much space

I bought this 3+ years ago. It worked fairly well for me, but there is such limited surface space and shelf space that it often felt crammed. When I began to use the desk more frequently, I ended up choosing to get a bigger desk. I would recommend for occasional or light use.

Make sure you have power tools

Don't even bother to buy this desk if you don't have a tool set. I'd recommend using a power tool... otherwise, you're in for hell. Several hours of pure and utter misery. I hated everything about putting this desk together. With that said, the instructions were fairly clear, and included helpful pictures. All the necessary pieces were in separate bags and clearly labelled. There were a few pieces I didn't know how to use, but the instructions had me covered, so as far as it goes, I think that part was very well done. I just wish someone would have warned me before I bought it that I'd need tools I didn't have... one screw driver simply is not enough to make this a doable task. It took HOURS and my wrists were killing me by the time I was done. All the same, once the desk was finally put together, it's held itself together well. The pieces are all made out of pressboard, so it's not the most durable thing. I wouldn't put anything too heavy on it, like a desk computer would be a no go if you ask me. A laptop and some books, however, are no problem for this little desk. I've used it for drawing, which results in me leaning heavily on the desk, and I've even fallen asleep at it a time or two, so as far as pressboard goes, it's pretty durable. Plus, it's so lightweight that you can just pick it up and move it any time you want, which is very convenient to me as someone who likes to spontaneously rearrange my room every time the whim hits me. I also move a lot, and my bedroom is on the second floor, so whenever I inevitably have to move everything down the staircase to leave... I'm going to be really glad that I got a desk which weighs next to nothing. This would be a great desk for a college dorm, for that reason. By the way, I want to warn you that this desk is very little. It's a small desk for petite people. I daresay that if my sister got this desk, she'd be unable to use it because she's quite a bit taller than me. Nevermind that she wouldn't have leg space, she'd be hunching over it to the point that if she ever used it, she'd wind up with back pain. I'm a tiny little five foot two, hundred pound girl. I fit perfectly at this desk, but if you're not a small person or a child, it will feel cramped to you, guaranteed. Also, be careful about what chair you buy. If the chair is too tall, or the arms too long, you won't be able to sit comfortably at the desk. Pay attention to those measurements. As near as I can tell, the measurements for everything on the desk- including its size when it's built- are accurate. So, before you buy a chair to go with the desk, or buy the desk to go with your chair, I suggest that you make sure they'll fit together like two pieces of a very satisfying puzzle. Overall, it was a pain to put together, but it would have been very easy if I'd had everything I needed beforehand. It serves its purpose well, doesn't take up much space, and it looks pretty nice. Not to say it looks like a full, fancy desk, but it doesn't look cheap either. It's simply a modest desk. For the price- at least when you compare it to most other desks on the market- I'd say this was well worth it.

Exactly as described

This desk is compact and exactly what I needed. Fits all my essentials, and fits in the small space I have for my course work. Took me about an hour to assemble by myself.

Good price for decent product

Decent product, simple and basic desk. Easy to assemble, but some there are some dings and scratches. It seemed to be packaged nicely enough, so I'm not sure if the damage came from the shipping and handling of the package or just a lower quality product. Overall, fits my needs enough with a lower price than other desks.

Easy to put together

I gave it four star cause it easy to read an put together but the black legs it comes with 2 broke as I put them in other than that it an amazing thing to have around. edit: just wanted to say when I screwed two of the black legs in it broke but it was easy to hot glue I use it to set my Guinea pig cage and it holds up fine

Holding up well

I purchased the Espresso computer desk for my teen son back in December 2021. It's now mid March 2022 and is holding up well with daily use. I wanted something small and affordable, that would match his other Espresso bedroom furniture, and had some sort of storage space. I went back and forth between this and a few others from the brand, and am pretty happy with my choice. Set up is very easy. My husband didn't realize it came with instructions, and had it set up in 15 minutes without them. The styrofoam packaging was an annoying mess to deal with, but every piece was accounted for and in perfect condition. The desk is sturdy, without any wobbling. We are using a simple folding chair, which fits perfectly. There isn't much leg room, so I don't know that a typical wheeled desk chair would fit, but there is enough leg room for my 5'7 165lb son to sit comfortably. There is just enough desk room to use his laptop, with a separate keyboard and mouse. I do wish this had a keyboard tray, however, having the 4 side shelves makes up for that. Overall, I do recommend this desk- for its affordability, style, and simple set up. It will work well in small spaces, for kids or smaller adults. I have 3 side tables from this same brand, that I purchased over 3 years ago, and they still look new. I typically use a microfiber cloth to clean off my Furinno furniture, but I have also used Clorox wipes and Murphy's Oil Soap, without issue. Though, I'm guessing, if it gets too wet, too often, the finish will bubble. However, if you need affordable furniture, that won't be put through a ton of wear and tear, this brand has decent products!

Fit perfectly, easy assembly

The assembly instructions were terrific and easy to follow. Assembled the desk in an hour* unavoidable interruptions* The desk measurements fit perfectly into the space I needed it for. Only downside is the material easily breaks don't force the screws.

not fit for purpose

this product is made of very cheap material and breaks very easy the 2 of the fittings broke with with HAND tight screwing the table edge was coming away itself adhesive failing a number of small marks very noticeable in the black color a standard computer tower does not fit under the desk very disappointed with product would not recommend

Spacious reasonably sturdy

This has been with us since April 2020. It can accommodate a chrome book a monitor and a keyboard. It also has a drawer and a little shelf besides the drawer, good enough to hold a few files and folders. The drawer is used to keep the chargers and small little items that could get lost easily. So very useful and well designed. Occupies little space in one corner of the room. Heavy enough so that it does not fall easily, but light enough to be moved once in a while to clean the floor. The only drawback is that the drawers don't slide very smoothly all the time. Also, the finish on the top of the desk has started wearing off a little. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs it for children's online schooling or even work from home.

What I needed

Was a bit of trouble to put together and feels like it could fall down with a strong wind (though it is sturdier than that). It does fit exactly where I need it to in a small space and the storage is excellent.

Pretty cheap material

It definitely looks nice but the material is pretty cheap. My oder came the next day which is really nice so the wide can use it right away since she works from home. This did not come with instructions but I was able to manage and used my own tools to make sure the table is sturdy and reinforced.
