Several duplicates, but worth the sale price

I got this on sale for under $30 (half off the list price), which is less than $1.25 per mini pop. So it's totally worth it even though there are some duplicates. The pop designs are all very cute, as we can expect from Funko. So many gingerbreads - The gingerbread characters are all right, but there were quite a few of them -- 13 I think, out of 24, so more than half. A few would be fine, but at that count I thought that style was overdone. I would've preferred more non-gingerbread Christmas-themed pops. Many repeat characters - There are just 11 unique characters of the 24 pops. There are so many Marvel characters, so getting 3 Thors, 3 baby Groots, 3 Captain Americas (Steve Rogers), 3 Spider-Mans, 2 Thanoses, 2 Captain Marvels, 2 Scarlet Witches, 2 Iron Mans, 2 Hulks... that's a lot of the same characters! (The only unique characters are Black Panther and Rocket.) Instead of the same characters twice (or thrice), I would have loved to see some other characters like Loki, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Bucky, Dr. Strange, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Falcon or Captain America (Sam Wilson), etc. The duplicates are frustrating. Yes, the duplicates technically have some minor differences so they're not exactly identical; one snowman Captain America has glitter and the other doesn't, for instance. But I'd still call them duplicates. Again, there are so many awesome Marvel characters, I would've liked to see some other ones rather than duplicates. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this. Unfortunately, Funko hasn't figured out all the figure balance issues. The baby Groot in the flower pot can't stay up on its own, for instance, so I'll need to put something underneath it for balance.

This is really quite adorable. The figured are behind little doors and also wrapped in plastic so you can't tell what they are. We're on day 12 and so far only two repeats: two baby Groot but they're different, but two captain America snowmen. They're exactly the same but one is glittery. Either way my teenage son loves them. Only complaint is many of them are unable to stand on their own. Wish they were made with either a stand they can sit on, or flat feet and not top heavy. But quality is great and they're really adorable! Edit: day 13 and there's no figurine. The box is empty. My son joked that it was the invisible man but for the money spent, I didn't think it was funny to have an empty box. Update:. Day 13 ended up not missing, the figure somehow had fallen into a later day. We had hoped for a really awesome last figure but it turned out to be a repeat of a figure we already got. In all there were three direct repeats and a couple that were the same but just with glitter. Would prefer each day to be a unique character. With multiple Groot figures and one Rocket, we were surprised there was no Star Lord. Also no Wolverine. Would have loved multiple Spider Man in different poses, outfits,etc. Overall though very happy with it.

Fun, but Repetitive

There are so many characters in the MCU, but unfortunately this calendar is repetitive in characters & poses (there are only 11 different characters in 24 days). You’ll see the same character/pose, but one has glitter or glows in the dark & one does not…several times in the set. (For example, there are 3 Captain Americas - a gingerbread, a snowman, & a glittery snowman). The figures that are there are fun, but I really wish there had been more variety. Additionally, I received a duplicate of one of the figures & consequently was missing another that was supposed to come in the set. I tried reaching out to Funko on multiple occasions before submitting this review, but after 4 months have yet to hear back from their support team.

To Many Dupes

My daughter was in love with this calendar when she saw it. The first days were great she sort of knew some of the ones she'd be getting they're on the box. She was excited each day. Then the entire 3rd week all duplicates of ones a he has. A little glitter does not make it different. Captain American snowman with and without glitter are the same. Love glow in the dark owns but why have them in addition to plain ones. We love the gingerbread also however adding glitter again does not make the different from the same thing. There was such a missed opportunity to make so many people happy. With all the characters in the MCU and even Avengers there was no need for to many duplicates. You can see in other posts the pictures. Would have loved Loki, Gamora or Dr Strange instead of 3 Captain Americas, and so on. My daughter isn't excited to finish the calendar now because she already has so many duplicate ones and knows there's more.

Best one yet

I love a good advent calendar and we try to get one for each person in our family! The figures in this one are adorable and Christmas tree griot is my favorite! My son loves Thanos in an ugly sweater and the glittery ones don’t shed so that’s always good news when glitter is involved!

Funko Pop! Marvel Holiday Advent Calendar

The calendar contains dozens of Marvel superheroes, including Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Black Panther, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Star-Lord - all dressed to impress in their holiday costumes. Very cute and fun to open for those young and old but the only downfall is that there are a number of duplicates behind the doors. I feel the experience would have been a bit better had each door of the advent calendar contained a different character without duplicates. Other than that, it was a lot of fun opening the different doors to see which character would appear next!

Fun, good quality product let down by duplication of toys

My daughter was so excited when she received this calendar and all went swimmingly for the first few days as she experienced the joy of a new festive Marvel model behind each model. Sadly, as the days have ticked on a number of the models have been duplicated - whilst some are slightly different to each other (e.g. Captain America snowman - glittery and non glittery versions), others are exact replicas (e.g. Baby Groot). The effect of this on a 6/7yr old is disappointment as so many feel like nothing new from what they've already opened. The enthusiasm that was there when opening the first few days has largely disappeared. It's a real shame as the product is great fun and good quality and I know from someone else that the Star Wars POP! advent calendar doesn't suffer the same problem. All in all, pretty decent but don't expect 24 different characters (unless of course we ended up with a rogue item that happened to have multiple duplicates!).

Far too many repeats

The calander is far too expensive to receive as many repeated characters as you did, granted some one them are slightly glitter but you can't really tell once you've put them on a shelf. Out of 24 doors 12 if them are same design repeates and their are also diffrent designs for the same character e.g thanos,hulk captain America. And after about day 15 their just all repeats with the exception of day 24 which just completely killed the excitement of opening them.For the price I would have expected at least 24 unique designs and preferably 24 different characters ( their are literally hundreds of marvel characters now that could have been used ),I can only hope that next year a bit more thought and consideration is put into the calander by funko.

Immer die gleichen Figuren....

Der Kalender an sich sieht sehr schön aus, ich finde es nur sehr schade, dass immer die gleichen "Avengers" drin sind. Klar, einmal glitzert ein Hammer, einmal nicht... Allerdings gibt es auch genau identische Figuren! Grundsätzlich finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Ich hätte mir mehr erwartet.

Ich hatte schon öfter Adventskalender von Funko POP und war immer sehr zufrieden. Diesmal jedoch bin ich es explizit nicht. Grund: Mehrfach sind zwei gleiche Formen enthalten - einmal als Glitzer/Frost Weihnachtsausgabe und die andere in Normallackierung. Das ist schon etwas einfallslos, geht aber noch. Mindestens zweimal ist jedoch exakt die gleiche Figur enthalten, da hat es mit den Sonderlack nicht geklappt. Das finde ich mangelhaft, da ich erwarte 24 verschiedene Figürchen zu bekommen. Reaktion vom Händler auf meine Beschwerde samt Foto: das ist laut Produzent immer so.

Gibt es nur noch 5 Marvel Charaktere?

Liebes Funko Pop Team, mit diesem Kalender habt ihr mächtig ins Klo gegriffen. Ich habe bereits euren ersten Adventskalender zu Marvel gekauft und dieser war um längen besser. Bei diesem Kalender hat man noch die Mühe die in dieses Produkt geflossen ist gesehen. Es waren 24 abwechslungsreiche, gut ausgesuchte Figuren in coolen Posen. Die Idee dieses Kalenders war auch recht schön. Marvel Charaktere in Weihnachtsglanz. Mal als Schneemann, mal als Lebkuchenfrau oder aber einfach nur weihnachtlich angezogen. Aber seit dem 10. Türchen sind euch dann die Ideen oder besser gesagt die Charaktere ausgegangen? Wir hatten bis jetzt (14.12.) bereits 2mal Cap, 2mal Captain Marvel, 3mal Groot und das nicht mal in anderen Posen oder ähnliches. Alles ist haargenau gleich, nur die eine Figur hat Glitzer und die andere nicht. Bei Groot ist es noch schlimmer, er trägt einen Stern und dieser unterscheidet sich minimal. Das ist einfach nur erbärmlich. Normalerweise müsstet ihr jedem Käufer das Geld bedingungslos zurück geben für diese Frechheit. Ich kann also nur jedem davon abraten diesen Kalender zu kaufen. Funko Kalender kommen mir nicht mehr ins Haus!
