Fits large, doesn't come out of wash well.
We purchased the 18 mos - 2T size, as our larger than average 16 mos old wears that size in clothing comfortably. My normal sized 4 and a half year old can almost wear this! We are making it work for Halloween, but I hope this helps someone else in the future. We washed the costume with the intent of shrinking it a little, and it came out of the wash with a couple of small pulls in the fabric. I washed on cold, gentle cycle, and dried on low heat, just as the product's instructions stated, so I would rate this low in quality as well. Like I said, it will work for our get-up this Halloween, but please consider all of this in your shopping!

This monkey looks like a bear.
But it did come with a banana, so got that going for me... quality is good for the price and it's super soft, tho. It's a bit smaller than expected for a large. Q

Just Ok
I bought this costume for my 18-month old daughter. I bought the 18m-2T size, which ended up being WAY too long on her. (Don't believe the length recommendations in the published sizing chart.) I had to pin it up in the back and put shoestrings around her ankles so that the material wouldn't fall over her feet. Also, the material is really thin, and three of the snaps broke the first time I put the costume on her. Overall, it was a cute costume, but I wouldn't recommend it to other people.

I was also surprised and disappointed it doesn't have a tail
After looking at the size chart, I ordered a large for my 2 year old but the costume is way too long. I was also surprised and disappointed it doesn't have a tail, I should have done more research on it. I wish it had more detail on the body portion. But it does seem to be good quality and warm enough for Halloween night.

it didn't feel like it was going to pull apart while my son ...
The cutest Halloween costume for my 2 year old! The material fit well over another outfit and while it was thin, it didn't feel like it was going to pull apart while my son was wearing it. We even put the feet over his shoes and he wore it while trick or treating. We washed it in the washing machine and hung it to dry and can still wear it for dress up. The hood is adorable and looked better than a lot of cheap felt monkey masks I've seen.

Quality is cheap, there was a hole in seam by the snaps. It did its job, he was a cute monkey.

Very poor quality
Costume fit and was very cute but it was made with very cheap, generic materials. Buttons ripped off instantly leaving it unable to be buttoned. Pretty disappointing for what I paid for it. Don't recommend.

Fabric is kind if cheep and thin but as long as u you place a foot ph on your baby it works out great the size are what u would expect. The ears don't stand up though but its for one night so all in all it was a good buy fir the price
